Montessori Material Making and Classroom Decoration Course

Material making and classroom decoration is a course designed to educate teachers, Parents, Educational professionals on how to make teaching materials to support teaching and learning. The course will further give an insight on classroom decoration.

Teaching materials are resources teachers use to deliver instruction and support children learning especially when they are tailored to the content in which they are being used.

Material making and classroom decoration is a course that offers teachers, educators and parents the opportunity to learn the steps involved in producing teaching materials and the benefits of the materials. These materials are important because they can significantly increase children’s understanding. For example, a worksheet, a game, 2- dimensional or 3- dimensional activity based materials may provide children opportunity to practice a new skill while in class. This process aids in the learning process by allowing children to explore the knowledge independently as well as providing repetition. Learning materials, regardless of what kind, all have some function in children’s learning. Learning materials can also add important structure to lesson planning and the delivery of instruction.
