Description

Green tea has evolved from being an exotic Asian flavor to a mainstream product.  Matcha Latte's have become ubiquitous in most coffee shops and we just love them.

Green tea pairs deliciously with dessert favorites like white chocolate, milk chocolate, fresh cream, and fruits such as strawberries and melon. And I would like to present to you both new and traditional dessert recipes using Japanese green tea and other Asian inspired flavors to bring new excitement and enjoyment to your dining table. Japan is more than just sushi so I hope you get a glimpse of another side of the culinary culture.

I have many favorite Japanese dessert recipes that use matcha green tea and I would like to share these with you. These desserts are light and airy and are packed with flavor. These are great desserts if you are looking for treats which are not  overly sweet or heavy.

This class will introduce 7 delicious Asian inspired recipes

1. Red Bean Dessert with Green Tea Ice Cream

2. Matcha Green Tea Mousse

3. Yuzu White Chocolate Mousse

4. Matcha Green Tea Roll Cake
