The Incredible Power of the Teleprompter

The teleprompter is not what it seems. While typically used to keep eye contact with an audience, the teleprompter is among the most useful tools in your performance arsenal. It can be used not merely to read a pre-prepared script, but also as a prompt for topics, call-ins, social media and much more.

Includes Guidance for the Beginner to the Pro

The course reviews a wide variety of teleprompters, cost points and techniques to benefit all viewers; from the business person, podcaster, media personality, host and even the DIY home professional.  Specific topics will answer the following questions:

  1. Why are teleprompters used?

  2. Who should be using a teleprompter?

  3. What are the basic skills?

  4. How do I develop a script?

  5. How do I prepare a script for the teleprompter?

  6. What do I use a teleprompter?

  7. What else can I do with a teleprompter?

Essentially, as one of the most important pieces of gear in a studio, your hosts embrace the wide variety of benefits the prompter provides.

The teleprompter class is taught by Shannon O'Dowd, Host and Media Trainer, and Mark Nicholas, Studio Owner and Producer. Together they have worked on thousands of hours of professional multi-media, with clients of all kinds and using teleprompters in a wide variety of ways.
