Description

You've seen an audition posting that you think you'd be AMAZING for. Now what?

Many people undervalue the importance of auditions, but in reality, they are the key to getting you in the room where it happens. Auditions are the lifeblood of many performers, on stage or on screen, and it's a regular occurrence you're going to run into as a performer. Instead of being nervous for every audition, you can be confident and master any audition monologue you're given.

Here's what you'll learn in this course:

  • What a monologue is and the different types of monologues you'll work with

  • How to break down a script and look for key character indicators that'll help your performance

  • Tricks and tips on how to memorize any monologue flawlessly

  • Critical vocal and physical exercises to get your body in the zone

  • Essential audition day dos and don'ts

  • How to ace any self-tape audition (an increasing reality in today's world)

Plus, you'll see a beginner actor work through the initial cold read, script analysis, and character breakdown processes and see how these techniques truly take your monologue to the next level.

Don't dread that upcoming audition. Learn to embrace it and nail it every time.

Be bold. Be brilliant. And book it.

Don't get taken advantage of by predatory film distributors. Arm yourself with the knowledge you need to get your feature film out to the world.
