Industrial instrumentation and process control are at the heart of modern process industries such as oil & gas, power generation, chemical plants, water treatment, and manufacturing. A solid understanding of how field instruments work and how control loops are designed, tuned, and operated is essential for any engineer or technician working in these environments.

This course, Mastering Industrial Instrumentation & Process Control, is designed to take you from the fundamentals to practical, real-world applications used in actual industrial plants. It focuses on how things really work in the field, not just theory.

You will start by building a strong foundation in industrial instrumentation, including pressure, temperature, flow, and level measurement principles. You will learn how sensors, transmitters, and final control elements such as control valves and actuators operate and interact within a control loop. The course then moves into process control concepts, where you will clearly understand feedback control, control loop components, and the role of controllers in maintaining stable and efficient plant operation.

Special attention is given to PID control, explaining proportional, integral, and derivative actions in a clear, practical manner. You will learn how PID controllers affect process behavior, how common tuning concepts work, and how different control strategies are applied in real plants.
