Now, that we have our top down szene done, let´s go on with a platformer level. We will stay with the 4 colors we have used before to be focused on the basics.
In this lecture we will start to create a isometric scene.
In this lecture we will finish our isometric scene
Now let´s create a book in pixel art.
At first I would like to start wit a simple tree. So lets start by creating a tree trunk.
Now that we have our tree trunk done, let´s create the leaves, the easy way! We wil create a custom leav brush and use that to be very quick in creating the leaves.
Let´s now start our second tree, that will be a pinestree.
In this section we will finish up our pinetree. We will not use a custom brush for the "leaves" this time, but make the style fit anyway.
Now, that we have done our trees, I would like to go on with some grass and bushes.
Now let´s get started with the clouds.
Let´s beginn with our building just with the linework
Now we can add some basic colors to the building.
Let´s add some textures to the building.
Now, that we have done the tileset, let´s create a scene with it.
Let´s just start by creating a building, just using greyscale colors
Next up we can add some basic color to the building.
Now we can add some more tiles like a fence, grass etc. to the scene.
Now we can create a scene, just using the tiles we have done before.
In this lecture we create a very basic character, that we use for our scene.
Lastly we can create some simple UI elements for the scene.
Let´s start with the basics for a card.
We can now add some image to the card in our case a submarine.
Lastly we can add a backside for the card so we could use it in a game.
Let´s make a very simple animation. A bouncing "square".
Now we can go a bit more into detail with letting a coin rotate.
Let´s start with a texture for our tileset.
We now can add more detail to the tileset.
Next up we can ass some grass on top.
To add more variation, letßs add corners.
Now we can add a hole to the tileset.
Let´s add even more variation to the tileset.
Now let´s go on with some stone tileset we create for the same scene.
Let´s now test, if the style fits (It does)
Next, we can add some stairs to the tileset
For this tileset I would like to add a nother building. So let´s go.
Let´s go on with more detail for the building.
There need to be doors and windows on a building, so let´s add them!
Next up we finish the building with a nice roof.
Let´s add just some more details for the building.
The scene is kind of empty so far, so let´s add a barrel.
Also we can add this box to our tileset.
For the foreground we can add a fence to the tileset.
Lastly we can create a scene with our tileset.
Let´s start creating our new tileset.
The ground needs some walls, so let´s add them.
To move between room, this door could help ;)
The side walls are a importand aspect. So here they are.
Without shadows, the scene looks a bit flat. So let´s add them.
With some higher platforms we can add more variation to the tileset.
To connect the platforms, we can create some simple bridges.
Now we can add some lava to make the scene more intresting.
We can add even more detail to the tileset.
Let´s create some mushrooms.
Next up we can create a barrel for this tileset as well.
Lastly let´s create a scene with our tileset.
Let´s start with the isometric view.
We can now create the base for our room.
Next up we can create the floor tiles.
The wall a to straight, so let´s bevel them.
More bevels.
We now can add even more detail.
Let´s add again more detail to the scene to make it look way more intresting.
The ground can also get some more detail.
More detail.
Now we can take care of some colors, so let´s add them.
We also can add some more platforms.
Now we can finish up our isometric scene.
Let´s create the basic shape of our character.
The character should get some movement, so let´s add a pretty simple idle animation at first.
Next up we can add a walk animation as well.
Walk animation part 2
And now let´s create one more character in a totally different style.
