Dr. Deepak J. Mashru has obtained PhD in ELT, Master of Arts (English), Master of Commerce, Master of Journalism & Mass Communication, Bachelor of Education (English) and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application. He has been in the field of English language teaching for more than 2 decades. He has taught English, Communication Skills, Economics, Management, Research and many more subjects at various levels from secondary to PG level.
He has authored thirteen books. He has launched three android applications for effective English learning. He has been awarded “Pedagogical Innovation Award” by Gujarat Technological University in 2017. He has been felicitated as “Academic Genius of the Year” by Genius Indian Achiever’s Award 2017 by Genius Foundation.
Presently, he is associated with Marwadi University as an Assistant Professor where he deals with many subjects like: English, Business Communication and Research Skills of Undergraduate and Post Graduate Programs.
He is a language technologist. He likes to blend technology in English Language Teaching. He always tries to make the learning and teaching of the English Language more effective and interesting.
