Hello hello! My name is Cynthia and I currently work here at Udemy heading up our Instructor Marketing team. I’m excited to share my knowledge on a topic I’m passionate about: marketing! 

Prior to joining Udemy, I worked at eBay where I focused on CRM marketing and was the lead subject matter expert on coupons based marketing for internal business units, driving $31M+ in incremental sales. I also worked at Google where I learned the ins and outs of online advertising; managing $8 million in revenue as part of a three-person team to grow and develop 16 interactive agencies. In addition to this, I've also consulted for several small companies and non-profits on how to effectively run their online adverting marketing campaigns as well as A/B test messages on their website.

In addition to marketing, I also have a passion for international affairs and previously worked at an international development non-profit where I researched new technology tools and drafted reports on how they can be used in international development programs.  This interest is reflected in my academic studies; I hold a B.A. in International Relations and Sociology from Tufts University and a M.A. in Communication, Culture and Technology from Georgetown University.
