Welcome to the course!

In this course you will learn how to examine and treat Temporomandibular dysfunction on your patient.

During the course you will learn how to examine:

  1. the jaw movements (depression, elevation, lateral movements, protrusion and retrusion)

  2. muscle tenderness of the jaw muscles (masseter, temporalis, pterygoid, suprahyoid etc.)

  3. differential tests - that can be contraindication or indication for treatment

  4. resistance tests for the jaw.


During the course you will learn how to treat the  TMJ dysfunctions with:

  1. manual techniques for the soft tissues and muscles on the temporomandibular joint.

  2. How to do intraoral techniques for the muscles and

  3. Ho to do intraoral mobilization of the jaw. (global intraoral TMJ technique, anteromedial reposition- displacement of the disc and unilateral intraoral decompression of the TMJ)

  4. What are the best exercise to give to your patient for TMJ dysfunction


After the course you will be able to examine and treat a patient with temporomandibular and craniomandibular disorders step by step.
