  • Pencil Outline10:08

    Plan the pencil outline on separate B4 manuscript sheets, keep panels inside the inner blue frame, and ensure nothing important lies near the binding area.

  • Inking Process10:38

    Master the manga inking process with a nib pen and multiliner, keep the manuscript clean, avoid tracing outlines too closely, and use whiteout for corrections.

  • Finishing Touches & Corrections10:52

    Finish your manga manuscript by applying spot fills, white-out, and screentones, then erase carefully and check for gaps before final submission.

In this course, the members challenge themselves to create original manga based on the Japanese folklore, "Momotaro".
We had Kei Natsumi-sensei, a manga artist, draw a sample manga called "Nekotaro" and they use it as a reference in our lectures.

<Goal>

1. You can complete the manuscript of your original manga and understand the important points when doing it.

2. You can also learn the basics of how to make vertical-scrolling manga.
