  • Character Creation 1 - Main character and the purpose16:08

    Design the main character with a clear purpose using character charts, varied poses, and distinct personalities; practice nib pen sketches to bring cat and human forms to life.

  • Character Creation 2 - Minor character7:41

    Explore how minor characters and sub-characters influence the protagonist in the momotaro-themed manga, using Nekotaro and companions. Draw character charts and practice varied poses to express relationships through pictures.

  • Manga drawing tools (some inking pens, pencils, papers, rulers, etc) (If you have, they enhance your learning experience.)

Description

In this course, the members challenge themselves to create original manga based on the Japanese folklore, "Momotaro".
We had Kei Natsumi-sensei, a manga artist, draw a sample manga called "Nekotaro" and they use it as a reference in our lectures.

<Goal>

1. You can create attractive characters while understanding each role of characters.
2. You can draw the whole body of your characters and understand the important points of drawing them.
