The Textile and Fashion Industry Training Centre Pte Ltd was established in 1983 and has been a long-term partner of SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) as the appointed Continuous Education Training Centre (CET) of the textile and fashion industry. The school is also EduTrust certified by the Committee for Private Education (CPE).

Join this course to learn about the principles of quality management. In this course you will be receiving a short crash course on understanding the importance of quality within the fashion industry and how to identify and maintain quality.

The multifaceted delivery will aid you in identifying problem areas and developing solutions to assure quality in the end product. Topics of this course will include statistical sampling, defects classification, product testing, safety standards, sample evaluation and report writing.


Objectives Include:

  • Principles of quality management

  • Comprehend inspection procedure and statistical sampling plan (AQL)

  • Interpret raw materials and apparel test reports

  • Evaluate apparel factories and fabric mills as per industry requirements

- No prior quality assurance experience is required. Students of all levels are welcome.
