Explore the MPC X and how to create background music for your videos or content. Learn a simple, button-driven workflow with knobs, grid view, samples, and quick recording.
Learn to sample with Akai MPC X by capturing from vinyl, a CD player, or a phone, set inputs and gain, record, save, and assign to pads.
Edit the sample on the MPC X by applying gain change to soften loud sections, trim to create chops, then convert them into a drum program on a dedicated track.
Learn to load and manage samples from Akai expansions, export to USB, and edit with trim, normalize, fade in/out, discard, and reverse to shape your beat.
Record your voice using the sampler input, adjust mic gain, and save the take to USB. Load the sample to pads, normalize, and add a beat.
Simplify your MPC X workflow by loading a drum kit from expansions, clearing unused pads, and saving a drum program for quick reuse, then leverage ready-made expansion sequences.
Export your project from the MPC X by inserting a sequence in song mode and exporting as mp3 or wav for use in video software.

My journey started with a friend sharing his Akai MPK mini and I got it and fell in love with it and figuring out the software and then moved on to MPC Studio and now I am in love with playing with the MPC X as a hobby and would like to share some of the tips and trips that I have learned on this journey.
I think the MPC X is a great learning tool as well as it can help you record your voice reading stories, positive affirmations or saying things that you want to learn and then you can remix it with a beat and listen to it again and again to help you learn it!
