The Ultimate Filmmaker's Business Guide is designed specifically for videographers who need help running the business side of their business!  Many videographers are so good at the creative, that the business (taxes, finances, contracts, client communication etc) falls through the cracks.

This portion of the full Business Guide, "Making Money," covers how and what to charge your clients. We will go through setting up your base pricing rate, making money, budgeting and personal finances as well as what jobs you should and shouldn't take on! You'll see how we charge our clients, examples of projects we've done and what we charged for them.

The videos walk you through the content in the guide and I'll also share specific examples of experiences we have had in the real world. We recommend having the PDF of the guide up alongside the videos, as there is valuable information in there you won't want to miss!

Don't forget the PDFs are interactive so you can fill in boxes and take notes as you're learning.

Description

The Ultimate Filmmaker's Business Guide is designed specifically for videographers who need help running the business side of their business!  Many videographers are so good at the creative, that the business (taxes, finances, contracts, client communication etc) falls through the cracks.

I came on full-time to help Zac (a videographer and my husband:)) run Double Z Productions. Six months later, we doubled his income, with way less stress when it came to dealing with client communication and paperwork. I finally decided to tackle the goal of putting our systems down on paper so I could help solo videographers take on the business tasks without needing to bring on another person to help them.

This portion is 1 of 4 parts of the full guide, the remainder of which can be found on our website. There, you'll find more guides on setting up your business, elements of a successful project and our contract!

This course includes an interactive PDF where you can click on links to articles, jump to different pages, fill-in boxes and take notes along the way. Each section comes with a progress checklist to track your progress along the way. You'll receive each section of the PDF broken down with the video lectures associated with them.

The videos walk you through the content in the guide and I'll also share specific examples of experiences we have had in the real world.
