To complete this course you will need the following:
Facial cream or primer
Light coverage/daytime foundation
Concealer - 1-2 shades lighter than the colour of your foundation
Blush or bronzer
Eyeshadow palette (preferably lighter & darker shades)
Mascara (waterproof mascara would be ideal)
Lipgloss or lipstick of your choice

Day Makeup - Everyday Makeup Application30:59
In this segment of the course, you will learn how to apply daytime makeup & application techniques for brightening and lifting the face. This makeup look is for every day wear, coffee dates, and any other daytime outings.

In this 2nd segment of the course, you will learn how to apply evening/night time makeup. This includes creating a beautiful, exaggerated smokey eye. This is the perfect makeup look for fancy dinners, theatres, evening celebrations. This segment talks about the difference in evening makeup applications with product recommendations.

To complete this segment you will need the following:
Facial cream or primer
Light coverage/daytime foundation
Concealer - 1-2 shades lighter than the colour of your foundation
Blush or bronzer
Eyeshadow palette (preferably lighter & darker shades)
Mascara (waterproof mascara would be ideal)
Lipgloss or lipstick AND lip liner of your choice

Exaggerating the Eyes - Importance of Using the Correct Lip Colour9:14
In this 3rd segment of the course, you will learn the importance of using correct lip shades and colours when completing various makeup looks. This short lesson goes over the importance of using lighter lip colours when having dramatic, darker smokey eye makeup, and the importance of having bright, bold and exaggerated lip colours when having a neutral eye.

Although this is a much shorter part of the course, it is very important to take into consideration when completing any makeup look.

To complete this segment, you will not need any equipment. However, if you'd like to experiment with this rule/principle you can use a bright red lip colour and a neutral/nude lip colour such as baby pink or caramel.

In this 4th segment of the course, we will go over the importance of skincare when applying professional makeup and how to take care of your skin to prevent breakouts. This video includes product recommendations as well as the simplest routines that you can add to your weekly basis for keeping your skin fresh.

Although this is a much shorter part of the course, it is very important to take into consideration for optimal results in having a flawless, glowing look.

To complete this short segment, you will not need any equipment.

Before you start:
Grab a notepad and pen. Watch the video and take notes of the ways you can keep your skin looking flawless.

In this makeup crash course you will learn how to professionally apply daytime and evening makeup for all occasions.

The course includes a total of 5 video lectures and a downloadable PDF. Including 1 video introduction, with information about the instructor and their background, what the course entails and what makeup is all about. x2 follow along makeup application video lectures (both 30 minutes long), a video lecture on rules of makeup and correct use of colour (10 minutes long), and a skincare video. (10 minutes long).

Lectures include makeup application techniques, skincare and product recommendations, importance of colour use and a PDF for more information including colour schemes, face shapes, fundamental rules in makeup application and more.

The course video content include tutorials on natural light makeup application and evening makeup application. (Exaggerated smokey eye).

You will learn which products are most appropriate for which occasion and which shades and colours may suit you best.

The daytime look focuses on techniques in making the face look vibrant, healthy and glowing.

The evening makeup look focuses on creating an exaggerated, smokey cat eye look with smooth application of eyeshadows without any tape or additional fancy brushes etc.

This tutorial uses a total of 3 brushes. One for powder and blush, and another 2 eyeshadow brushes to blend the colours.
