I will talk about the agenda for the course and a quick introduction to Global Order Promising. I will also show the Business Challenges faced by customers for Order Fulfillment.

I have uploaded my article on Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) published in the OAUG Magazine in 2016.

I will talk about how you can identify the Best Source of Supply, Schedule complex fulfillment scenarios, Anticipate and Manage Order Backlog.

I will show you how material allocation is done in GOP. I will also show you some scenarios like GOP checks for product availability across multiple levels of bill of materials, multiple echelons of a distribution network, or both simultaneously.

I will talk about how you can promise orders effectively using Available to Promise (ATP) and Capable to Promise (CTP). I will also talk about how you can do Backlog Management of Sales orders effectively and easily using what if simulation using GOP.

This is a continuation of the previous section.

I will show you how companies can make profit by choosing the cost effective option provided by GOP for fulfilling sales orders.

I will talk about the configuration steps for some of the key topics in GOP. I will also show you how you can configure Available to Promise (ATP) rule, which will show the best source of supply and the date when the product becomes available for shipment.

I will show you how you can configure CTP to promise orders where the supply is not available immediately. I will also show how you can configure Sourcing Rules to let GOP find the right sourcing of Supply for your Demand.

I will talk about the flow of the demo on GOP Cloud. I will also talk about and show you the new look and feel of the GOP cloud application.

I will show you some of the enhanced features like Infotiles, embedded analytics, enhanced graphical capabilities which can use to drill down to the data you need to review and act for promising supply to your sales orders (demands).

I will show you how you can review the available options for fulfilling the sales order after ATP. I will also show you how you can view the Supply Chain Bill.  

I will show you, how you can create Sourcing Rules for picking the Supply for your demand. I will also show you how you can assign the Sourcing rule to an item or item and Organization.

I will show you how you can configure the promising modes for “Supply Chain availability Search”, “Lead time based”, and “Infinite availability based” and the business value for using those promising modes.

I will show you how can review the Supply Consumption by demand for your items.

This lecture shows a live software demo of Order Management and the GOP cloud.

I have uploaded a process flow document, which shows how Subscription Contract is created from Order Management. Here the Sales Order has Hardware item (physical item), coverage (service contract item) and Subscription as well.

I will show you how GOP Cloud works with Order Management Cloud, Manufacturing Cloud, Inventory cloud and other applications for Promising orders based on the demand and supply got from those applications.
