There are products, and tricks being developed on daily bases. Although we covered the main methods and principles of the Magnet approach; still there are many tricks and a wide area of using magnets as a support for a the gimmick , but not the actual gimmick or method itself. Let me explain with examples of products below:

Newsflash 2.0 by Axel Hecklau

News flash is a cut and restore trick of a newspaper, the main method is a duplicate newspaper pages- but the trick uses a magnet instead of double side tape to make the reset easy- so this is not mainly a magnet trick, but rather a magnet that assist, and support the gimmick duplicate

Here is a demo of product

 The Cocktail By Gustavo Raley

This effect is actually by Alan Wakeling from his book, "The Magic Of Alan Wakeling"

The method is hidden cups inside the bucket- the magnet can assist in having the cups holding on to the metallic bucket- here is a Demo

Point is, the method is hidden transparent items (cups) and magnets are only to assist to hold on to the bucket

Given these two  examples, we can mention below more trick with similar magnet supporting  gimmick tricks, but the magnet is not the main gimmick-

Yo-Yo By David Levitan:

magnet hold yoyo together

Magnetic Airborne By Twister Magic

magnet is used instead of the classical method of a hook

Over all the best magnet tricks in my opinion comes down to 2

“The Raven by Chuck leach”: because it uses 3 layers of illusion 1. the reel 2. the magnet 3. the gimmick US metallic coin- you end clean
Preview of product:

the 2nd trick is "Peter Marvey's Card Thru Window" : also uses 3 layers of illusion, 1. card force 2. magnetic switch 3. black art - you surprisingly also end clean

here is a preview :

Having this said, I wish to apologize for not illustrating, and purposely avoiding trademark tricks like the card through window tricks as many methods uses a magnet trigger to activate a sequence of gimmicks, or at least for Peter Marvey’s method and Jean-Pierre Vallarino - "Signed Card Thru Window".

As for this course, just like the previous examples, they both use a magnet to activate a mechanical sequence of events behind the glass.

Thank you again for taking the time to watch this product. Contact me with any Magical Question
