Pre show exercises -

Everyone is lucky today because we are going to do a magic show

Who here like to see magic, wiggle your fingers if you like to see a magic show today

I only can do magic if you children can wiggle your fingers this way

Well I'm excited today because I am going to do magic, you are going to do magic and maybe I will teach you how the tricks work, but first.

We have prizes to give out if you are polite, we have spiderman, thor, captain america and hulk, you get to turn the wheel and win a prize .

I will pick people who sit criss cross applesauce

sit straight, big smile your face,

raise your hand if you want to volunteer - not now

And if everyone has fun, I have a price for each and everyone

(either business card or 100 dollar gag) If kids are difficult, do the 100 dollar giveaway gag as an ongoing gag

I have to tell you something about the show

if you see anything during the show you like, or enjoy, I want you to feel free to clap your hands, you guys know how to do that? Let's see how loud you can clap your hands right now.

If you see something magical, when that happen I want you to go wooooo , can we practise OO

Sometimes the I will do something surprising, if that happens I want you guys to go aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa can we all practise.

The other thing is If you see anything during the show that looks funny, sounds funny or makes you want to laugh. I want you to go right ahead and laugh if you feel like it. Let's all try to laugh

If you need an example I have a funny button on my tie _ If I press it, as long as you guys dont say snap (let it snap)

if I press it and you say snap, it will snap. But no matter what you do, do not say sanp

Well To start the show first I need to introduce you to my assistant,

My assistant is a Magical Chicken. And Now please promise not to laugh when I tell you his name? His name is POK POK -

Now I got to make sure that I am ready for the show , I got my magic custom on, but I need something, something that I wead on my head, a magic aaa magic (children yell HAT) -

Ohh here we are a beautiful magic hat

As soon as you wiggle your fingers , something magical will come out of this hat - go ahead wiggle your fingers.

Then act surprised, and ohh struggle to pull out

Invisible ball

Boys and girls, the invisible ball (mime)

Toss ball from one side to another

Blow in ball and it will inflate

Toss from one hand to another again , and it gets heavier

Blow in ball more and it will inflate more

Mime and add magic dust- mime

Levitate - wave hands above and below

Push act - No matter what you do, dont say go left -

No matter what you do, dont say go right

No matter what you do, dont say go up - do leg split in air

Stop in middle, say shushhhhh - Grab HAT and get cloth - start music -

put cloth , dane

Do peek 2wice,

Ball fly high - Open hands while it floats up - try to keep the thing on your level, but it keeps shooting up. Remove cloth out of curiosity

Use cloth to locate and it’s a little off to the side -

Then you say calm down - it goes crazy going right - bring it back (pull rope mime)

It goes crazy the other way (ball pull you mime)

Try to say NO behave- Ball hit you in the face

Then remove cloth to yell at the invisible ball (Harshly)

Then try to put back the cloth and the thing is gone

Wave Cloth x2 - wave Hand x2 to find it

Sad music from wenakh - I sit sad in the corner

Ball pokes me in the back, i get excited, do isolation dance

Push the ball back to hat on table- (it pushes up few times)

Remove cloth - Try to wear hat- ball still inside hat won't fit - Remove ball from hat and say:

Boys and girls, the invisible ball - thank you very much

Would someone like to keep the ball? If so, remove it and give it to them .

If someone else asks, say sorry I only have one.

Multiplying bananas

OK I have My magic hat, but we can't start the show yet, because, I need something to wave , something called mmm

Children yell a magic wand

Silver Sceptre

No i do have a real wand from the magic circle ,

It’s inside this orange bag, and inside is a real silver wand (pull sleeves down 5 sec) - woooo

And they told me I can do marvelous magic with it. (wand falls in bag) look and pause.

Pull down sleeve again- This wand is made of real silver (falls again)

Ask children should I take it out ? take it out and say

Now you can tell its real silver because when you tap it rings like a beautiful ringing pleasant noise like a soft bell. You listen - shusshhh (FLAPP slap wand and say ewwwwwwwwwwww) -

That didn't ring very well did it

They told me this wand does magical things , and Whatever you do, don’t wiggle your fingers.

Double look, and pause , look confused , look up and push wand down.

This wand is magical, it can turn the TV on, and if you shake it , you can control the light. When you spin the wheel I want you to do your magical gesture with the wand like this - .

Now as you can tell from the way I’m dressed, I'm not a plumber (show and hide plunger) , no I didn't come to fix the toilet. I am a magician and also an author - would you like to see my latest book - It's a book about magic, so far it only has pictures, there is me doing this trick, and that trick- and what's this doing here

Do vanishing crayons - I want you to pretend that you take colors from this box and toss it to the book

I hold the box up, Take box and Open box to show empty.

Speaking of animals, Hands up all those of you who own a pet at home, like a cat, dog or a goldfish or an elephant.

Everyone say, what are you going to show us Mr Emad the entertainer?

He is a famous rat - you might seen him on TV he has a TV show

Bring pic of jerry from tom and jerry, and palm puppet behind pic

This is Jerry, and yes he is a magician mouse

Jerry here can do multiple tricks

Bring down the tail and have audience react to it

Jerry can jump - Last time he jumped up someone legs - you should have seen her Jump

she was sitting right there (pre prepare a young lady)

isn't he cute, make him run up shoulder 4 times,

While kids say ohhhh - have mouse run up all over you and stop at your armpit

Hey don't hide under my armpit - come out - (do 3rd hand gag)

Remove gimmick, and say come out fella ,, don't be scared

Have a mouse whisper in your ear - say - what's that? He said is a bad cat that keeps bullying him? (add anti bullying message) everyone say - “say NO to Bullying”

i have to hypnotize him now- Jerry - look into my eyes (pause) follow my finger and have a mouse jump on your face.

Again -you are getting sleepy, sleepy wait your are getting hungry

Here is some Cheese- (Do eating gag) ?

Act disgusted, and pretend to wipe your hand on someone.

Jerry magic trick has to do with keeping an eye on my wands, he keeps track of my magic wands. If I need a magic wand, I check with Jerry the magic mouse !!! (mouse climbs up pole) WHAT

Oh Jerry, excuse me a min , Jerry you are supposed to grab the magic wand at the bottom.

Since we had Jerry here, I will be making you a balloon mouse

You can take whatever color you like ( do change bag gag where you move it away when kid reaches to it)

Just take any color but not yellow (yellow gag balloon)

Ok take your balloon and give it a stretch - but be careful , balloons are dangerous

(snap your hand gag) blow on my finger (fart sound come out gag)

Do again and say haha you thought I will slap my hand huh , 2nd slap on nose -(prepare to reach for a napket and steal mini balloon gimmick.

Take mini red balloon and mini bubble, Blow hard to make a mini bubble -- we don't need this (remove bubble ) gag- pause and let audiane register what just happened.

say this is really hard and use pump , remove end tip gag same baloon

Blow and make farting noise with mouth as it deflates - wave the balloon in circle and slap it as I end the noise with a zip (watch dan garret to understand if I forgot)

Try again with pump - blow balloon and Make it fly off HEYYYYY

Its ok i have a much better one , this is blue - pull and snap it off flying HEYYYYYY

This is serious ok, I went to balloon university , that makes me a balloonologist

pump a balloon and say I will make a K- not - Make false knot and give to child, and it inflates (before he grabs it) you look away and talk to audience, react

Let's do it one more time

Blow balloon and say : I'm going to turn this to something very special - watch - ready (do Tony Clark snake gag) take 20 sec of balloon twisting to reveal a snake (whole balloon)

Thank you - give him a big hand, Never mind i'm a nice magician, il cut this in half and make a balloon animal (do balloon split) banana split gag With yellow balloon)

Give one half to kid and have balloon fly off- look no see

I can't believe you tossed it away. Ok here take the other half this time HEYYYYYY

Alright let's blow it up, and then (release air to tie) makes a fart noise - say excuse me

Card Trick

Who would like to see the biggest Card trick in the whole wide world?

Bring out large card in a wooden frame

The card is so big I needed a frame for it, now for this trick I need someone to help me,

Now I'm going to show everyone here my prediction CARD, prediction is something I think you are going to select. and the prediction card is the 7 of trees. (pull out card from frame and show) You can remember that because you are 7 and you like trees. Flip and put back. (Get trick set up)

Now I have a jumbo deck of cards , and you see every card is different.

I'm going to give you this wand

- do feather duster gag

No seriously with this wand (harry potter). I will riffle the cards, and with the wand (wooden knife) you stick anywhere in the deck and we will see if you get the 7 of ???

Look at card again - yea 7 of trees

Remember the cards are shuffled and they are all different

Riffle and card stops - here, are you sure - i can keep going this is really a free choice (wink at audience and say OR IS IT??)

Well then take the card and show to audience and give me a big clap - HEYY

Child stops at QHeart - - it's not the 7 of(look at big card) trees, you were suppose to get the 7 of trees first time is a warm up

Let's do it again - first time is always a warmup -Let's take this queen and lose it in the pack- forget about riffling cards, Can you call out a number higher that 5 and lower than 20 - what's that 7

Count - and on the 7, (not at 8and not 6) and here is the 7 of trees HEYYYYYYYYYYYY

How did you do that -

Let me take the queen and cut the cards and lose it in the pack. This time I will try to find MY 7 of trees, il simple look in the cards real quick, and I will see exactly the 27th card. So all you have to do is cut the cards. 27 from the top. And you amazingly cut 27 cards to the 7 of trees HEYYYYYYYYYYYYyyy

Let me take that queen and lose it in the pack. . this time i will make several Piles of cards on the table, do you pile #1 , 2 , 3 what's that 3 - good, because the 7 of trees is right on the 3rd pile HEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY how do you keep doing that

Il take that annoying queen and bury it back in the deck , give it a cut and a Shuffle -

I'm going to put the cards behind my back and try to find the 7 of trees, let's see. I think I got it. If this was the queen i'm going to be upset - HEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY did you do that too?

Let me look at this to make sure all cards are different. Fan card out, and do classic force

Ok let me give you this jumbo dice, give them a roll on the table, what's that 3, count 1,2,3 and your card the 7 of trees HEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYy’ it wasnt here at 4 or 2, how did you do that?

You know what this time i'm going to blind fold the deck. (use hanky) So you don't see the cards, making this very hard. You know what, I wrap the whole deck inside this tie shoe (use toilet paper) so no one will see it , then I'll give you a wand - this is the most difficult part of the trick right here - i want you to insert it somewhere in the pack

Now if I'm lucky , the card she stabbed at should be the 7 of trees. HEYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

You know you make me look really stupid in front of everyone , you are suppose to pick the seven of trees and MY prediction was is the 7 of trees (look no see) kids react

And I know that is a sev (look and pause ) - ask a kid how did you do that?

I was supposed to trick you! Instead you tricked me!!! - and everyone in here!!!!!!

and now - How many people here saw me on the Tonight Show last week? Raise your hand? You did, If you watched the tonight show, you probably seen my big illusion of sawing a lady in half -

I am going to do a smaller version of that, and use My wife who decided to help me saw her in half today, my wife is the queen of my heart (show queen )

In order to cut her in half, we need to put her in this wooden box. (insert queen into wooden card)

And in order to cut her in half we need a chainsaw to zig her middle out (put card down)

Intro the coke straw and also a chainsaw - let me demonstrate and test this saw - I have a ring of death - ring goes in here, and , and can you make a chainsaw sound - go ahead -

Pass ring, one, - THANK YOU VERY MUCH would you like to see that again,

Do again, this is better than cutting a woman in half.
