This comprehensive course provides in-depth knowledge of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) process operations and safety measures in compliance with NFPA 58 (Liquefied Petroleum Gas Code) and NFPA 54 (National Fuel Gas Code). After completion of the theoretical part and case studies, the plant site is visited to familiarize the participants about the as built process to understand the concept categorically. The course covers LPG facility design, including storage tanks, piping systems, pressure relief devices, and safety controls. Special emphasis is placed on hazard identification, risk assessment, and fire prevention techniques to mitigate potential risks associated with LPG operations. Attendees will also learn about SCADA system integration for process control, ensuring safe and efficient LPG handling. Participants will explore fire and explosion hazards, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and safe work practices to minimize workplace risks.
