discover how to obtain four main softwares for the course—unity, zebrafish, photoshop, and maya—by creating and signing into accounts and using trials and personal licenses.
Find the right reference images for low poly unity scenes using pinterest, artstation, and artist profiles. Explore searches, gameplay footage, movies, and music to inspire character and environment concepts.
Explore building epic low-poly scenes in Unity by compiling an asset list and bases in Maya, combining references, creating reusable prefabs, and preparing assets for selling.
Detailing models in ZBrush to craft flexible low-poly scenes for Unity, separating parts, iterating with brushes, and exporting decimated assets.
Finalize low poly models by cleaning geometry, merging faces, centering, and freezing transforms. Export with course script, name and texture assets, then import into Unity and set units to centimeters.
Learn to design level art in unity by modeling, exporting, and assembling low-poly scenes; adjust meshes, apply textures, set lava and skybox colors, and iterate with lighting and vfx.
Apply lighting and vfx techniques in Unity to finalize assets, adjust postprocessing, colors, and emissive lights, and iterate with particles and color tuning for a cohesive scene.
Learn how to publish a Unity asset package to the Unity Asset Store, from creating a publisher login and packaging assets to composing key images and screenshots for storefronts.
Document your Unity projects by creating a documentation folder, exporting a complete package, and detailing how to replace post processing, merge prefabs, and ensure a smooth asset store upload.
Publish Unity assets by configuring metadata, titles, and keywords with the asset store metadata editor, then set previews, pricing, and submit for Unity approval of low poly environment assets.
Welcome to the Learn To Make Epic Low Poly Scenes In Unity [Advanced] ! This course should be taken if you've already took the Learn To Make Epic Low Poly Scenes In Unity [Intermediate] course. The purpose if this course is to implement the business side of selling assets & introduce more techniques on all the softwares we are using. This course will be fast pace & I'll be using advance terms & concepts that you will only understand if you've taken the Beginner, Intermediate course or you are generally an advanced student already.
In this course I will teach you how to create the Hell Scene. Keep in mind this course is targeted for advanced users in Maya, Zbrush, Unity & Photoshop. If this course is too fast for you, I suggest taking the Beginner|Intermediate course first where we created the Portal Green Scene & Swamp Scene from scratch & went through all basics & fundamentals. Its best to have fundamental understanding first before shortcuting your way through everything so at least you understand the process & you don't miss out on basics.
So this is everything that you have learned so far from the beginner & intermediate course:
Organizing & Structured Planning
Model Efficiently in Maya 2018 & Zbrush 4r7 & 4r8
Color Theory & Color Schemes
Create Gradient Textures
Import/Export
Set Up Scene In Unity
Lighting Scenes In Unity
Unity Particle Effects
__________________________
New modeling techniques (Let's up the complexity!)
We will add a Shader into the scene
We will apply & try out different Color Schemes in Unity
New VFXs
Baking Lights in Unity
Rendering in Cinemachine
BONUS: Animations
If you came from those two courses, this course will be the easiest thing drop upon you. It's the same workflow & implementation. The only difference is we're wrapping everything up so we can sell it on any platform. Also we are creating the Hell Scene from scratch just like the other courses, we start from 0. We will combine all 3 scenes when the hell scene is done, clean up everything inside unity, documentation, technicalities etc ~
This is the last installment from the Epic Low Poly Scenes course series. (lol what a mouthful). I hope you had fun & l hope you will take the knowledge that you've learned from here to go out there in the world & thrive. Goodluck on your projects & I will see you guys on another course. <3
