    If you, like many others around you, are not satisfied with the quality of life your experiencing NOW- and getting into get the same old strategies and habits which have failed you time and time again, only to lose headway, then a new strategy is what you need. Fortunately for you, there are ways to successfully and effectively turn your health- and your life around. For some this will look like a vegetarian or animal product free diet, for others it will gear towards a high fat, low carb nutritional plan.

    No injections, no medications, no 500 calories a day starving plan. Heck, we'd be shocked if you feel that hunger pain again with us. We have personally tried hundreds of diets, and taken away the post embarrassment and unhealthy shame for you! What we have found from trial and error on these plans is that there is no fancy, special, secret magical food (unless it's steak, then that's magical) and no unrealistic eating expectations. Listen to your body!

    First, we're going to have you cleanse your body, think of this as detoxing from the processed foods and sugars. For 10 days, you will keep it simple- keep it real. No processed foods, sugars or heavy starches! This will be a challenge that will be well worth the effort. After the 10 days, we will aide in slowly introducing new foods back into your body. What foods work are up to, well YOU. We're going to get your mind, back in touch with your body. You'll experience tests that may be challenging- after all, we aren't “sugar-coating” anything! Certain foods can make you feel bloated, headaches, tiredness, inflammation....or maybe you're feeling that way right now?! This is how our bodies speak to us telling us "STOP EATING THIS-YUCK".

    We aren't concerned with calorie counting. We are going to be focusing more on what exactly you are consuming and is it even real food? Did you know there are over 60 names for sugar?! Just because the label says 'sugar free', it doesn't truly mean there aren't artificial sugars added. We will help you navigate tricky labels so you can shop better, and more importantly, healthier.

    Our nutrition plan will be customizable for you. We go off the baseline of low carb, high fat. When you eat carbohydrates, your body releases insulin into your blood stream, basically telling your bodies fat cells NOT to release any fat to burn. Thus allowing insulin to have several different effects that we don't want to happen in our bodies; Covert sugar in blood to fat in our cells (TELLING OUR BODIES TO STORE FAT since sugar is available), and make you crave more carbs. Ahhhh!

    Thanks for joining me in my kitchen today. One of my favorite places in the house and, hopefully, yours. You are new and ready to get started.

    We are going to talk about the first ten days of this new way of eating and your lifestyle change. What we are going to concentrate on is beef, pork, chicken and fish. These are going to be your staple items. If you are a vegetarian, we can talk about that later. We can go into supplementing with eggs and nuts and things like that. If you do eat that way make sure to contact us and we can talk with you about it.

    The first ten days we want to do an inflammation diet. We want to cleanse your body, get rid of the inflammation, get rid of all those toxins from processed foods. So again, beef, pork, chicken, fish and above ground vegetables. Those above the ground vegetables have tons of nutrients and are low in carbs.

    Also, I know most people hate hearing this, we are going to get rid of alcohol for the first ten days. We know you can do it. Ten days, that’s all we are asking.

    Really get in there and cleanse your body. Get rid of processed foods. That stuff is just bad for you. Get that crap out of your house. Donate it to a shelter. Ask friends on Facebook if they want to come collect it. You don’t need to throw it away. It is not a waste of money. There are families that could use that stuff.

    We are also getting rid of sugar. Sugar is huge. A lot of our clients have problems with sugar, and they notice right away they start detoxing a bit and experience headaches and stuff like that as they get rid of all that crap in their system.

    But that’s it. That’s your first ten days. You can do it! Let’s start!

    Now we are going to talk about some tips. One of the biggest things I can share with you is only eat when hungry and only until satisfied. Again, this is huge on reprogramming your brain and really listening to your body. That’s what this whole program is about--listening to your head and your stomach and just your body on how you are feeling. So again, only eat when you are hungry and only until satisfied.

    The next tip I can give is water. Water is huge. For example, Dave just made a pot of coffee and I was telling him for every one cup of coffee make sure you drink two cups of water because it does dehydrate you. We recommend half your body weight in ounces each day. If you are experiencing any difficulty in that let’s talk. But water is huge. So, half your body weight in ounces each day.
