This is the introductional video so I can greet with you and guide you through a few basic informations about this course.
Every designer needs to introduce himself to the students. In a few short sentences let me summarize who are you actually dealing with and what I do & love!
Here you can download all the resource files for this course.
Before you attend the actual design process you should know the basic steps which will repeat itself in the entire PowerPoint 2016 / 2013 / 2010 class we are taking here. PowerPoint can be a great tool but we need to know a lot of shortcuts, options, and usefull tabs to enhance our workflow.
Powerpoint is template-based and this is what we are going to prepare. To set the first stone towards building our house we need to prepare the template a little bit to make the workflow easier for us. Let's go!
The first step towards preparing our powerpoint animation will be to create rectangles. They will later on shift around the screen and eventually go out of it, but until we prepare all the animations we need to create & name the objects properly so they will be easy to handle for us.
Let's get down to the nitty gritty. Things just got serious and we start the animation process. Animations in PowerPoint can be difficult but with the core-training provided inside of this powerpoint course you shall pass every gate it would throw before you!
We continue our powerpoint animation which is a huge part of the first intro we design with a spin. This is a powerpoint animation we will ADD on top of the previous one, which will create a more appealing concept. This is important powerpoint knowledge you should grab because once you start working on various animations you will see that if you don't organize them properly they start to be a pain. You can partly avoid that by naming all objects, organizing the animations and working with the previous explained panes for selection.
Next one on our journey is the grow animation. This will complete our first animation sequence of the powerpoint intro we intend to create. Adding a few animations on top of each other makes the animation pane crowded but with the right naming and selections you work around that with ease.
Without timing powerpoint animations seem dull. I will show you how to work with unusual powerpoint tweaks to extend or shorten the duration of them and how heavily that affects it. The animations seem more interesting with each inch you shift them in time. This gives you some basic animation knowledge you can use in all video and animation software programs.
The entire intention of the logo intro reveal in powerpoint is to introduce our logo in a nice and unique way. In this lesson we will insert the logo and add some flavour the the design to make it more appealing. Powerpoint allows us to create nice looking transparent objects with a few simple tricks.
The logo itself is not enough. As always in our powerpoint videos we need to enhance it with interesting animations. For the logo we just need a small bump as it gets revealed and zoomed into the presentation. Since we went through the tough lessons already this will be a piece of cake.
Fade in, fade out, these are a must in every video production and we will of course maintain that in our powerpoint logo animation. We need to keep up with every possible industry standard so we will make a interesting transition with use of objects to clear the screen of our logo and proceed to the end. Stay tuned!
Let me show you places where you can download free music for your projects. If you have watched other of my courses you may probably already know those places, nevertheless I am always validating every possible copyright so you are 100% you will not violate anything. Let's finish up our powerpoint design #1!
Let us start working on the 2nd logo intro animation in Powerpoint. In this lesson we will start things off with preparing the circle which will be in the middle and introduce us to the logo part of the design.
Powerpoint has it's limitations but we can always find interesting workarounds which will help us to create interesting effects and animations. Here we will learn a nice trick how we can replicate a shine through the logo effect inside of powerpoint. We create an object and set it in subtle motion to highlight the quality and brighten parts of our logo up.
To achieve a nice effect we can manipulate circles as if they would pulse out of the center . For this we will use a few powerpoint animations and object features. We adjust the transparency and will work heavily on the powerpoint 2013 timing section to make the animation short and crisp.
We need to complete our animation and fine tune the entire project. For that we will add one last circle animation to our powerpoint presentation animation. Let's make a circle around the logo section which will add the corporate feeling into it. A corporate style means business oriented, professional, clean, good looking, modern, and without a finishing touch like here we would not implement all those factors. Let's head over to the design!
Let's round up our powerpoint animation and logo intro with a nice fade out. Using the build-in transitions is too simple so we will add a pinch of design into it by making all the important elements dissapear separately. This won't take much time for us and will be fun for you to make. Learn interesting animation techniques for powerpoint you will use in all projects you may attack in the future.
Sound is essential to underline the whole concept of a design. Powerpoint animations are no different and let me show you a great resource website where you can find free sounds, and some of them are even listed under a Creative Commons 0 license which means you can use them - even commercialy!
This is a complete tutorial how to use the actual finished design and implement another logo into it. We will work on the colors, animations, overall design to adjust it to a different style. Powerpoint is a drag-and-drop software and the template is geared to be easy to change. Jump into this lesson and learn how to edit the most important elements!
Learn how to edit the second template you have prepared in this class. A few tweaks and you can use it for any type of logo, any kind of style or design. The template is made to work with several possibilities and it is only limited to your imagination ! Powerpoint templates are a great way to pump out several designs from 1 file so use it for any project you'd like! FREE sound effects are included so you are copyright-free covered :)
If you put in the time and effort brag about it in the discussions section of the course, use one of the templates and add the video link to the discussion board with #assignment so everyone can compliment Your work :)
With this lecture, I will teach you how you can adjust your Grow/Shrink animation to use for any picture, background or object and make a looping animation out of it. With a few PowerPoint options and tweaks we can repeat, loop and smooth out our animation to act as a little enhancement in our slides.
With this tutorial I would like to show you how to create a custom slide transition in PowerPoint. The native PowerPoint transitions are very limited and already over-used. It is time for some simple but fancy motion-graphics we can utilize to transition between our slides. This technique works best for slides with a one-color backgrounds , flat designed presentations and any type of kinetic type animations. I hope it's useful and refreshing!
Using Microsoft PowerPoint 365 or 2019 we can create this type of animation. Motion graphics is my favourite topic and it will appear regularly on this channel. This video will show you how to design an animated title slide with moving, organic and natural feeling elements around it. The focal point will be a round shape and text within it in the middle, but in the back the entire motion will come to fruition. Organically moving circles and moving elements all around, I hope you'll enjoy it! :) Thank every single one of you for being here and helping the YT algorithms with a like or comment. I know, stupid, but can't do anything else to be seen!
This is a kinetic text and typography animation made completely in PowerPoint. With this After Effects like animation I wanted to show the capabilities of text and shape animation within PowerPoint with the Microsoft 365 subscription.
Thank you for taking part in this class. It is a great honor for me to be able to share my knowledge. I would like to ask you to leave a review now in the class. I wanted to adress two things here:
