Tara R. Alemany is an award-winning, bestselling and nationally known author, speaker, publisher and book marketing consultant.
She has authored two books, and co-authored or contributed to three others. Her latest book, The Best is Yet to Come, was released in November 2013, and shares the lessons learned while overcoming the unexpected death of her fiancé in October 2011.
She also has recently released a revised edition of her first book, The Plan that Launched a Thousand Books, a DIY guide to marketing and promoting your own books.
Tara speaks frequently on social media, book marketing, publishing and inspirational topics and can be found at writers conferences, women's conferences and Christian conferences throughout the country.
She is the creator of the popular Bite-Sized Marketer video tutorial series, which teaches people how to market themselves online, one bite at a time, and is also the founder and owner of Emerald Lake Books, an entrepreneurial publishing company, and Aleweb Social Marketing, a web design and content strategy firm.
She works primarily with coaches, consultants, thought leaders and entrepreneurs who see their book as part of their business model, and transforms their words from manuscript to masterpiece, and then equips them to get found online, on-stage and on-the-shelf.
The services she offers range from book preparation (editing, formatting and publishing) through launch strategies and support, including website and social profile development, and the training and strategies required to reach your target market with your unique message. Services can be purchased a la carte or as publishing packages designed to fit the needs of her clients.
Tara's thoughts and insights have also been included in articles on Social Media Today, Carol Roth's Business Unplugged, Marketing Sherpa, Business2Community, AllTop and Bank of America's Small Business brief, and her content has been reprinted in SOLDLab magazine.
In addition to consulting, writing and speaking, Tara serves on the Boards of Directors for a Christian writers' critique group and is Chaplain of that same group. In her spare time, she is a novice wine maker, a martial artist, a juggler, Mom to 2 teenagers (one of each), step-Mom to 2 dogs (one of each) and is owned by a black cat.
