Philip C. Agrios, DC, DACBSP is a Top Performance Specialist, best-selling author and speaker and teaches his clients how to stop getting in their own way so they can have more of what they desire most. .
His discovery of The 6 Step Problem-Solving Blueprint allows him to quickly and precising pinpoint the blocks that surround people in their business and personal life.
Dr. Agrios’ life experiences, although filled with many tragic events, have prompted him to dedicate his life to teaching his discovery. He has created seminars, internet courses and other avenues so others may be helped using the same principles as he did to continue on their journey of life, thereby attaining optimal health, wealth and happiness.
He shares his perspective not only from a clinical point of view but provides his clients with pertinent examples taken from his own life experiences.
A graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic, Chesterfield, Missouri. Dr. Agrios earned his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree in 1985. Prior to his studies at Logan, he attended the University of Scranton, Scranton, Pennsylvania.
In 2000, Dr. Agrios was no longer able to practice chiropractic due to a disability. He sold his practice to his competitors and attained the position of Marketing Director. Marketing proved not to be rewarding and he felt he was not fulfilling his life’s purpose. At that point, he believed he was destined to begin the quest to reverse his own disability.
Throughout the following year, he embarked upon his program encompassing a regime of nutritional therapy, chiropractic treatment and a specialized strengthening program. However, he knew that to be completely cured, he needed to treat not only his physical body, but the mental and spiritual aspects of himself as well. He did the latter through applying what he calls, “Life’s One Law,” his discovery from a decade prior. This unique combination enabled him to resume his practice and continue to help others through his education, training and personal experience.
Dr. Agrios did return to practicing chiropractic a few years later and as fate has it, started to attract more chronically ill patients with conditions similar to his own. It took another decade or so to refine his treatment by using the same methods of curing his own conditions and applying them to his patients.
He realized that the personal mentoring component of his treatment was the main reason for the high success rates. Furthermore, as patients were having successful outcomes in their health and personal lives, he recognized that those who were business owners, executives and sales professionals were having breakthroughs in the career aspects of their lives.
He decided to focus his complete attention on the principles of Life’s One Law and teach them to the masses. He knew he would have more of an impact proving his hypothesis and creating the awareness of how life is not as complicated as it seems. As a result, he was inspired to create different avenues to teach others how to overcome severe obstacles as he did.
Research published this year by Harvard and Stanford Business Schools suggests that health problems associated with job-related anxiety account for more deaths each year in the US than Alzheimer’s disease or diabetes. It is likely that the same is true in the UK.
The combination of the Amazon story and the recent study into the impact of work-related stress means that there are important questions that all organisations should ask themselves.
These include: What type of management culture do we foster? What informal conflict management techniques do we offer to foster healthy workplace relationships? What are we doing to enable people at work to enjoy their jobs and thrive, both psychologically and physically?
Scott teaches non-violent communication techniques that help managers live healthier productive lives.
