Description

This is a short 2-hour course providing a robust overview of how to support LGBTQ+ people in your workplace.

Do you want to feel better informed about LGBTQ+ people and how to provide an inclusive service? Would you like to ensure you are being respectful of people's pronouns, terminology and identity? This short course will equip you with the knowledge and understanding of how to provide an inclusive atmosphere for LGBTQ+ people. After taking this course, you will feel confident in your understanding of LGBTQ+ issues, terminology, language, and so much more.

Our training is particularly useful for non-clinical staff or those working in patient-facing administrative roles, including but not limited to receptionists, administrative staff, support staff and more.

This course has been written and developed by queer and gender non-conforming healthcare professionals with a proven track record of delivering training on Diversity, Equity and Inclusivity (DEI/EDI), and transgender awareness training. We don't just "talk the talk", but "walk the walk" too, utilising these skills in our own healthcare clinics, with our own patients and staff. Our courses are written to provide real-world applications that are relevant to you, and can be of immediate value and support to your workplace.
