The Subconscious Mind
At a very young age, our subconscious mind begins to get programmed with a specific set of conditioned beliefs, behaviors and habits that account for 95% of our thoughts, actions and behavior in our adult years. Between the ages of 1 and 7 years old, the pre-frontal cortex, is not fully developed; this is the part of the brain that enables us to rationalize and make decisions, so our subconscious mind absorbs ALL the suggestions it is provided from our environment our us, which includes our parents, friends, family, media and religion as true without discrimination. These early subconscious beliefs lay the foundation of our lives and effect everything from how we see ourself, our worldview, what we believe we are capable of, our reactions and so much more.
Letting Go = Liberation from Limiting Beliefs
Before we begin this course, I invite you to consider a limiting belief, mental thought pattern, emotional conflict or fear that you are ready to let go and rewrite the story. This can be something that is present for you in your life right now or something you’ve been frustrated with for years that keeps coming up, again and again.
When we breath consciously, we invite the opportunity for stuck emotional energies to move and a moment of temporary suspension of a limiting belief to emerge. Often times this GAP is enough to unblock the mind, explore outside the boundaries imposed by limiting the belief and expand our reality tunnel to see beyond, moving us towards our goals/dreams.
Exercise: Write Down 1-3 limiting beliefs or negative thought patters, habits and/or behaviors that you desire to release and let go over this 21 Day Journey. The most common human limiting beliefs are:
1. fear of success
2. fear of failure
3. fear we are not good enough to achieve what we want
4. fear of not being loved/being unlovable
5. fear of rejection – generally leading you to avoid relationships or people please
6. having negative attributes assigned to being rich/having money: For example, rich people are…
7. fear of greatness
8. we don’t deserve/we are not worthy of success
9. we have to work very hard, long hours for our money
10. others hold me back.
Recognize any of these in your own thought process? How often do you hear yourself say “I should” “I have to” or “I can’t?” By simply becoming aware of this type of inner dialogue, we can begin to create a degree of separation and space to shift it.
Shedding the Should's and Shouldn't
When we are children, we are flooded every day with a million should's...we should look this way...We should do these things....We should talk like this...We should wear these clothes and as if that isn't enough...
All the shouldn't....We shouldn't be too loud...we shouldn't be too quiet...We shouldn't be too timid...we shouldn't be too bold...we shouldn't be too big...we should't be too small. The list goes on and on; and underneath all these should's and shouldn't, it's as if there are layers and layers of pain covering up who we are at the core. Covering up the beautiful, shining, joyful, glow that happens when our true self emerges.
The dull roar of all of the external voices covers up our true voice, the one that whispers from our heart that empowers us to live a truly wonderful life where we feel deeply ALIVE in every moment.
For this reason, we created this 21 Day Journey on Letting Go, as an invitation to come home to your true self, your authenticity, and release the freedom to be truly YOU. Your true self is always with you has always been with you. It's right here now, waiting to be set free.
The Synergistic Power of Meditations, Affirmations and Breathwork
In this course, we have prepared a simple, easy to follow morning and evening routine that synergistically work together to create a positive groove in your life. We ask that you follow this program for a minimum of 21 days, because it has been proven that it takes an average of 21 days to break a habit/from a new one.
Habits are any routines of behavior that are repeated regularly and tend to occur subconsciously. Our daily habits are what create the grooves in our life, that create our life experience around us. If you want a different outcome, you need to LET GO of the thought patterns, beliefs, and habits that are no longer in alignment with where you are trying to go.
As you move through the daily practice, remember that you are installing a new positive language in the garden of our subconscious mind that will greatly benefit your quality of life and will soon be seamlessly integrated into your daily awareness. When our body and mind are healthy and ‘correctly tuned’, a harmonious life unfolds in and around us.
To get the most out of your transformation, follow these guidelines during the coming 21 days.
✓ Commit yourself to do the sessions every day.
✓ During this course make notes about things you find important to remember!
✓ Do the daily ‘Inner Vision Questions’ as journaling assignments in the morning /or evening .

***Best if performed within the first 15 minutes upon waking and the last 15 minutes before you fall asleep. This is when your brain is still in theta and the subconscious mind is the easiest to reprogram with new positive thoughts.
Morning Practice
Step 1: Listen to the Guided meditation for Letting Go (lecture 8)
Starting your day with the Guided Meditation for Letting Go. All you have to do is relax the body and give yourself the gift of being present with everything that is alive for you in this moment. This meditation is wonderful way to start your day releasing anything that is ready to be released.
Step 2: Listen to Letting Go Affirmations (lecture 6)
These Letting Go affirmations are an invitation to let go of any burdens, tension and negative thoughts you're holding so you can create space to plant new seeds (ideas/thoughts) that will draw you closer and closer to your deepest truth. Your true self is here right now, just waiting for you to discover it. When you're in harmony with yourself, you're not fighting against yourself and life can really flow.
The only definition of happiness is wholeness. Your true self is where you are whole. - Helen Keller
Affirmations are energetic statements repeated while your brain is in an alpha/theta brainwaves state aimed to reprogram the subconscious mind, All you have to do is allow these statements to wash over you. There's no need to try to keep a hold of the words. Know that each affirmation is a beautiful seed bursting with life and potential. Allow the words to be gently planted in your subconscious and this will happen naturally just by listening. Just by hearing it, with daily repetition, will take root in the form of new beliefs.

Evening Routine
Step 1:Listen to the Letting Go 4-8 Breathwork Track (lecture 4)
With Every Exhale We Naturally Let Go
One of the greatest gifts the breath can teach us is the art of letting go. We can use a simple rhythmic breathing practice to release our attachment to our beliefs, thinking and emotions. With repetition, this practice will naturally help to create more harmony, balance and alignment between our inner and outer world.
In the breathing practice below you are going to be breathing in a smooth rhythmic manner that will allow stagnant emotions to move freely within the channels of the body so they can be released. Any tension, discomfort, stuck emotional energy and mental patterns you may be experiencing can be released on the exhale by allowing yourself to fully relax and imagine this energy leaving our body. By using our breath to circulate energy around the body, paired with an intention to gently let go, we can activate our body's natural release valve!
Imagine your breathing pattern to flow like the waves of the ocean washing away any dis-ease you may be feeling.
Set an intention, each day before starting your practice to let go of all which no longer serves you with every exhale. Energy flows where intention goes...When we let go of what we are resisting we create space to plant new seeds of positive intent that we want to grow within our subconscious mind.
Step 2:Listen to the Guided Meditation for Letting Go the suitcase of worries (lecture 10)
All you have to do is relax the body and give yourself the gift of being present with everything that is alive for you in this moment. This meditation is wonderful way to start your day releasing anything that is ready to be released.
***Best if performed within the first 15 minutes upon waking and the last 15 minutes before you fall asleep. This is when your brain is still in theta and the subconscious mind is the easiest to reprogram with new positive thoughts.
4-8 Breathing Session to Let Go and Grow
In the breathing session above you can set the intention that with every exhale, you release anything that no longer serves your highest expression. As you inhale, you open up to create space to plant a new positive seed of intention in the subconscious mind. These new intentions are watered daily throughout this course with positive affirmations and breathing sessions to grow deeper and deeper roots. Just like a gardener cares for his garden, we have to be the gardener of our mind.
It is an empowering shift of perspective to know that you can choose to seed in beliefs and values that fulfill and nourish you rather than remaining unconscious of ones that sabotage you. Changing your belief system is one of the most important steps to take in achieving soulful success. Believe that you can and you will!
How to Perform the Breathing Practice
In the Letting Go 4-8 Breathwork Audio you are going to be breathing in a 4-8 breathing rhythm to review stress and tension. All you have to do is follow the breathing rhythm and counting provided as you relax and let go. This subtle elongated extension of your exhalation activates your body’s parasympathetic nervous system which is the natural release valve for stress and will enable your body to become more relaxed with each breath.
Benefits of 4-8 Rhythmic Breathing
Lowers inflammation for autoimmune conditions
Lower cholesterol
Strengthens immune system
Improves blood circulation
Improves digestion
Reduces tension, anxiety and worry
May help to stabilize blood sugar levels
May help decrease blood pressure naturally
Enjoy this short, relaxing and rhythmic breathing session will help you to let go of any stresses accumulated throughout the day before drifting off to sleep.
