
SUPPLY LIST OF ALL MATERIALS I’LL BE USING IN THIS CLASS:
(But feel free to use whatever supplies you have)
SKETCHBOOK OR ART JOURNAL - I’m using a mixed media sketchbook by Strathmore size 5.5” x 8.5” but feel free to use any sketchbook or art journal or paper that is at least 5” x 7” so you will be able to transfer the downloadable pdf image onto it ( the image is 5” x 7”)
ACRYLIC PAINT - Please use any brand of acrylic paint you like and also any colors you like as well, I want you to love the colors your painting with! The colors I will be using in this class are:
LIQUITEX: Light Portrait Pink (light pink), Bright Aqua Green (aqua),
BLICK: Pink Light (pink), Red Violet Deep (Dark violet red)
FOLK ART: Tickled Pink (bubble gum pink), gold “Glitteriffic” glitter paint
MARTHA STEWART: Party Streamer (bright pink), Beetle black, Vanilla bean (brown)
MONDO LLAMA: Deep Sea (indigo blue)
You will also need some white paint. In this class I will be using Gesso for my white but any white acrylic paint will be great.
3. WHITE GEL PEN- I am using a white Signo Uniball white gel pen but any white gel pen will work just fine. (I also like the Gelly Roll 08 gel pen by Sakura)
4. PAINT BRUSHES - I will be using 2 Flat brushes and 2 round brushes. The flat brushes are sizes 12 and 6 and my round brushes are sizes 6 and 0 but it’s okay to use whatever brushes you have.

6. GRAPHITE PAPER - Speedball/Mona Lisa brand

What you’ll be creating:
1. You will be creating your own Art Jounal Girl using the 5 x 7 PDF image available to download in the “PROJECTS AND RESOURCES” section using techniques from this class.
2. You will be creating your page with whatever materials (mixed media) you already have on hand but I will be teaching you my favorite techniques using acrylic paint, Neocolor II wax solvable crayons, Sakura Gel pen
