Matsumura Seito Shorin Ryu is an old karate tradition that traces its roots back to the legendary master Matsumura Sokon.

One of its rarest and most highly valued forms is the Hakutsuru Kata, also known as the “White Crane Form.” It combines elements of Okinawan karate with influences from the Chinese Crane style.

The kata is characterized by soft, flowing movements that alternate with sudden, explosive techniques.

Many of its motions emphasize balance, precision, and controlled breathing. In this way, it develops not only physical power but also inner energy (Ki).
