Microsoft WordPad is a default rich text formatting application in Microsoft Windows that lets you create and edit rich text documents. In this course, we are going to look at all the features that the tool provides to create different types of rich text documents.
We will start out the course by exploring the WordPad Interface and see how we can work with Ribbon Tools and Quick Access Toolbar followed by getting familiar with Keyboard Shortcuts.
We will then look at the text formatting options such as Font, Font Size, Superscript, Subscript, Text Color, and Alignment options to get the texts to look the way we want. We will also take a look at how we can align texts precisely by using the Paragraph Formatting options and by using the Ruler.
Then, we will take a look at insertion options where we will be taking a look at how to insert and work with pictures, insert and work with paint drawing, date and time, and insert other objects of various formats.
To make it easier to work with texts, we will then explore the Find and Replace Feature along with Word Wrapping options.
After we are used to the formatting options available in the application, we will see how we can work with Page Setup and Printing Options.
Finally, we will take a look at how we can insert URL Links and Tables in our documents and then wrap up the course with an example project.
