Description
In this course, we will explore the fundamentals of microlearning and what makes learning "micro". Additionally, we'll look at the many elements that create effective microlearning, and what a microlearning course might look like in practical application. Finally, we'll use a microlearning LMS to build microlearning content, then interact with that content from the mobile device.
Our primary learning outcomes are:
1. Understand how active learning, gamification, and spaced repetition contribute to microlearning.
2. Understand how microlearning content is created.
3. Consume an example microlearning course.

Instructor
Wayne Bridges is a Senior Workspace ONE Solutions Engineer at vmware. He has a total of 10 years experience in the field of enterprise mobility management, along with 10 years experience in public education, making him a foremost authority on mobile learning initiatives. Wayne is a doctoral student in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Educational Technology at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
Managing all of these responsibilities and pursuing so many interests has also made Wayne a master of managing his time and attention. In these courses, he shares the productivity and personal management skills that have made him successful.
Wayne is married to the love of his life, Myra, and as four wonderful children, Gabi, Noah, Joaquin, and Julia. He lives in Republic, Missouri.
