Description
Learning the German vocabulary is hard. Having said that a good command over vocabulary comes with tons of confidence when you converse and you have a chance to make a lasting impact with your speech.
Throughout this course, you will be systematically learning German vocabulary for A1 level along with the right pronunciation in native accent. The videos based on "Listen and Repeat" technique, which helps you to remember the content for longer time. You get to learn vocabulary chapter-wise and verify your learning through interactive exercises. I have compiled the list of vocabulary majorly from the Netzwerk courseware. Also you get to learn in short bursts of just around 10mins long videos. That way learning becomes light and also effective!
This course helps you to ace Goethe/Telc or OeSD exams by equipping you with the required vocabulary. By the end of this course, you can have the confidence in your conversation with your German colleagues and friends.
The learning plan:
In order to complete the course, all you need to do is, for the next 26 days dedicate just 10-mins of your time exclusively for Vocabulary learning. First 13 days to familiarize yourself with the entire A1.1 vocabulary(~550 words) and the next 13 days to revise/memorize the vocabulary so that you remember them for longer time. I shall explain the detailed plan and steps during the course.
How do you learn: The "Listen and Repeat" technique
First the German word along with its article is played, following which is a beep sound hinting you to repeat the word. You can repeat the word during the 5 second pause. After the pause, the meaning of the word in English is played. When you listen to the audio the next time, do repeat the word during the pause and also try to recollect the meaning. You can verify your answer after the pause. On an average, you need to repeat the process 2 - 3 times to memorize the vocabulary.
At the end of every chapter is a practice-test/quiz to check your learning.
