This lecture takes you through, step-by-step, and shows you how to create a pencil drawing of a subjects, much like the ones that you will need before beginning to paint in Section 3. These drawings are done using a nifty technique that utilizes tracing and carbon paper, which saves a ton of time and effort. Once you have your subjects drawn and/or traced, you are ready to put paint onto paper!
In this lecture, you will follow along and learn how to draw a simple flower - a beautiful orchid - as you get ready to paint it with watercolors. When you are done, you'll move on to Lecture 4, where you can learn how to draw a day lily.
In this lecture, you will learn everything you need to know to begin the transformation of your orchid drawing, which you drew in Lecture 3, into a masterful watercolor painting.
