Who this course is for:
- Active individuals who want to learn how to play volleyball
Instructor
I started playing volleyball at the age of 14 in high school, and immediately fell in love with the sport. After four years at my local recreational club, I turned 18 and attained my trainer license with the official program of Swiss Volley. This is where my motivation for the game skyrocketed. Before, I was mainly invigorated by the raw power of hard driven spikes. But after the program, I saw the fine art behind that, like how you can read the body language of an opponent attacker in order to block such a hit.
With this new perspective, I joined the juniors’ team at Voléro. We won three medals in the regional league and I played in the national championships in three consecutive years.
On top, I started coaching a youth team where I learned a ton about teaching. At the beginning, my students were often chatting around. But as my competence grew, my lessons became more sophisticated, engaging and fun. I discovered how to challenge every individual player at their unique level. I learned how to help players overcome their fears, adapt when things were not working out and so much more.
Now, I am excited to share this knowledge with you. In my courses, I’ll teach you how to unleash your full potential. So get out there to become the best version of yourself!
