The language taught is spoken Southern Vietnamese, exactly as used by native speakers on the street of Ho Chi Minh City.

I wrote 18 lessons for beginners. Over the course of these 18 lessons, you will follow the story of a girl named Phi and 3 young men. They have matched on Tinder and chat on. You will know more about Vietnamese culture, lifestyle, cuisine, etc...

Each lesson includes an introduction, a dialogue, an explanation, and all the vocabulary.

Introduction

I will explain grammar and new words that relate to the lesson. You might also hear a short conversation in Vietnamese and try to guess what will happen in the main dialogue.


Dialogue

You will listen to the story. Don’t worry if there are some words that you don’t understand. You can replay a few times. Take your time!


Explanation

I will explain and give examples for new words and grammar.


Vocabulary

I will say new words in Vietnamese and you will listen and repeat after that. You should do this step a few times. Pronunciation is essential in Vietnamese.
