The aim of this course is to equip you with the knowledge you need to enable you to write and publish your books.
By the end of this lesson you will know how to choose a title for your book which captures the imagination of your reader and promotes your book. The four simple rules which you can follow to get your title right. You will also learn the "rule of thumb" when choosing a subtitle. You should find it easier to decide upon the best title for your book by the end of this lesson.
At the end of this lesson you will be able to decide upon the best size for your book. The size you should use depends on wether you are writing a novel or a book which incorporates portraits and designs. The standard size for novels is 5 feet 3 inches x 8 feet, 5 inches. In centimetres this would be 13.5 cm x 21.5cm.
In this session you will learn how to use recognised Internet experts to help you design a professional cover for your book. If you have followed the lectures you will have all the information you need to get you a cover which markets and sells your book.
At the end of this lesson you will realise that type-setting, formatting and proof-reading your book does not have to be challenging. In this lesson you will learn how to get into stores. if you would like to have printed copies of your books being sold in stores you will need an ISBN or International Standard Book Number and a barcode. This is required to have your books in any store in this digital age. This video will give you all the information you need to meet these international standards.
