Instructor
Director, owner of Skate Instructors Association for North and South America. Our company is the only certification course that can offer insurance to members for both skateboarding and inline/quad (rollerblade and roller skates) skating. I run summer Skateboard Camps in Seattle and also run Skate Journeys Skate School which is the largest inline/quad skate school of it's kind in the world (inline). With 46 instructors we have more instructors than any other school and we offer 6 levels of classes to kids and adults throughout the year. Skate Journeys is a non-profit providing free classes to those who need it, including an entire free program to the refugee school via Seattle Public Schools. Skate IA was started in 2004 on the heels of the closure of ICP/IISA North America and I have been running it since 2009.
