Block a creature in zbrush with zspheres, establishing the torso, neck, arms, and legs in symmetry before posing; adjust dynamesh and adaptive skin density to refine volumes.
Block a creature in zbrush using adaptive skin and dynamesh, duplicating subtools and adjusting density. Mirror and pose the head and limbs, marking deltoid, pectoralis, clavicle, silhouette.
Learn to block out creature teeth in Zbrush by using a sphere, Dynamesh, masking, and symmetry, updating the mesh and refining proportions toward a reference.
Change proportions to fit a game portfolio by posing and adjusting the creature in ZBrush using mirror and weld, transpose master, and symmetry for a natural humanoid look.
Learn to sculpt legs in ZBrush by testing humanoid versus alien bipeds, refining leg silhouette with symmetry, pose tools, and adaptive skin for convincing anatomy.
Explore first blocking and adaptive skin sculpting in zbrush to create clawed creature anatomy, using symmetry, dynamesh, and clay buildup to shape fingers, nails, and a cohesive silhouette.
Add feet and claws to the creature by refining symmetry and silhouette with smoothing, Dynamesh, and zero remesher. Polish details, pose the claws, and ensure a clean, cohesive look.
Learn to sculpt a hand in ZBrush with bone structure like ulna, radius, metacarpals and phalanges, using dynamesh, dam standard, and clay buildup to create volume and skin folds.
Refine the arms and hands, shape the pectoralis and neck, and plan body flow with polygroup, masking, and dynamesh in ZBrush toward a cohesive creature silhouette.
Learn to sculpt a right hand in zbrush by refining volumes, adding fingers and nails, simulating bones, masking, and updating the mesh, with anatomy-focused workflow.
Learn to sculpt claws for little hands in Zbrush by blocking, duplicating mirrored nails, adjusting pivots, and refining cavities, borders, and skin details through a calm, step-by-step workflow.
Learn to sculpt a creature's mouth in ZBrush for beginners, using masking, lasso, polygroup controls, and careful transitions to shape teeth, jaw lines, and facial anatomy.
Block and shape a human teeth structure in ZBrush for beginners, defining the incisive frontal canyon, and adding premolars and molars with Dynamesh, standard brush, high polish, and masking.
Detach the neck region and refine wrinkles with masks, polygroups, and standard brushes as this lesson guides sculpting landmarks, volume changes, and mesh separation for a creature in zbrush.
Learn to sculpt legs in zbrush for beginners by building leg volumes with dynamesh, guided by references to rectus femoris, vastus medialis, and gastrocnemius.
Merge and bake subtools, refine transitions, and sculpt volumes using remesher as you build the creature's core structure, then prepare for interior detailing and Photoshop finishing.
Learn to sculpt a creature in ZBrush by exploring red tones, layering colors, masking by cavity, and color fill object techniques to refine anatomy and transitions.
Explore ZBrush techniques to craft a blue and dark color monster, using masking by cavity, layers, color fill, and polypaint to build skin shading and blue details.
Learn to sculpt creatures in ZBrush and produce material renders by merging geometry, applying cavity, skin, and reflection maps, and refining lighting and Photoshop compositing.
Do you want to learn creatures sculpting in Zbrush? Then I welcome you to the course.
About Me:
My name is Daniel da Costa and I have been a 3D character artist for about 12 years now. I have worked for tv commercials, movie agencies and 3D animation studios, currently I’m working as a freelance character artist and 3D tutor.
By the End Of This Course, You Will Be Able To:
Sculpt realistic creatures using zbrush and you’ll get a great sense of the creature anatomy construction from start to finish.
Sculpt creatures with better accuracy than before.
What You Will Learn:
Sculpt realistic creature anatomy
Work with ZSpheres
Create detailed creature highpoly
Make textures using polypaint
Interpret concepts and turn it in realistic 3d models
Course Project Overview:
We will start with Zsphere to create a guideline, Then we will sculpt the elements of the body such as the arms, hands, claws, legs, feed, tail, head, teeth. Then we will refine the skin and use alphas to bring out the little details of the skin, after all we are gonna use the polypaint to bring a texture and give a realistic feeling to the creature and to finish it into the photoshop.
Who is This Course For?
Who wants to model beautiful looking production ready creature highpoly but they struggle to get it because they don't find a tutorial which is step by step, no fast forward, no skip and coming from a production artist who is doing this for years.
Who is Not The Ideal Student For This Course?
