Level 2 Blues Harp Objectives:

  • Learn 7 essential blues bass-lines

  • Refresh 12 bar blues with structure and chords

  • Learn to tongue-block and get that rockabilly slap bass rhythm sound

  • Learn about positions and blues scales

  • Learn more about draw bending and positions

Here you'll learn more about the basics you need to play with a band.

This course will give you much more confidence to play blues harp with other people informally of even in a jam session.

You will learn 7 blues bass-lines so you can understand the structure, and 'what sounds great where'

You will play along with music tracks using these bass-lines and hear real bass players playing the same notes that you are learning

Finally, we will refresh draw bending and look into positional playing especially the best three positions for blues.

There's a lot to learn here - it will be fun as well as challenging - see you on the inside.
