I will start to paint the Sweet Pea iPad Painting. I'll be blocking in the buds and stems with simple shapes on a layer.

Sweet Pea 1

I'll be adding a new layer and painted in the caps of the buds with simple shapes.

Sweet Pea 2

Starting to paint in the detail of the buds. Using different tools like the scatter tool, blur/sharpen tool , dodge/ burn tool and spray brush. Softened the edges of the buds.

Sweet Pea 3

We are going to be working on the next layer with the caps on the buds. Using the spray brush to shade the caps. I’m going to be adding some red color in the stems with the scatter brush. Also I will be using the dodge/ burn tool and soften the lines. we will also use the smudge tool

Sweet Pea 4

In this video I will be painting on the stems and leaves with the dodge/ burn tool. I  will also be adding detail with the spray brush and highlights with a brighter color. Using a small pencil I will be painting in the veins in the leaves.Copy and paste the layers and merge layers.

Sweet Pea 5

In this video I'm going to work on the next stem using the copy  we made in the last video and change it. Every stem is different so i wanted to show you how easy it is to do that. Using the scatter tool and paint in the new  shape with a pink color. I also will be adding detail with a small brush. I going to duplicate the layer and transform it.

Sweet Pea 6

Adding a new layer in this video for the sweet pea flower. I will be saving my colors from the buds. Then I will shut off all the layers and I will be painting on a white canvas. The flower will be painted on three layers. I will be using  the pencil brush and drawing in simple shapes.

Sweet Pea 7

In this video I'll be painting in the detail of the flower. I'll be using the dodge/burn tool, spray brush and adding veins in the flower with a small pencil. After that I will use the blur tool to soften the veins. Then I'm going to merge the layers of the flowers its on one layer. Then I will duplicate the flower so we have three.

Sweet Pea 8

In this video I will be transforming the sweet pea flowers on different layers.

Sweet Pea 9

I'm  going to move and merge some of the layers. Then I'm going to transform the layers and move scale and rotate. Then I'm going to merge down the layers.

Sweet Pea 10

In this video I'm going to bring my painting into another painting that I've created earlier. I'll  copy the painting and then will show you how to paste it in the next painting. Once its in the new painting I will transform and move scale and rotate it to fix into the vase of the new painting. I will be moving the layer so it is in the vase. I thought I would show you how to combine two painting. You will learn how to save and export your painting to photos or send it by email.

If you have any questions I would love to hear from you
