1 Corinthians 2, Message Bible

1 You'll remember, friends, that when I first came to you to let you in on God's master stroke, I didn't try to impress you with polished speeches and the latest philosophy.

2 I deliberately kept it plain and simple: first Jesus and who he is; then Jesus and what he did - Jesus crucified.

3 I was unsure of how to go about this, and felt totally inadequate - I was scared to death, if you want the truth of it -

4 and so nothing I said could have impressed you or anyone else. But the Message came through anyway. God's Spirit and God's power did it,

5 which made it clear that your life of faith is a response to God's power, not to some fancy mental or emotional footwork by me or anyone else.

6 We, of course, have plenty of wisdom to pass on to you once you get your feet on firm spiritual ground, but it's not popular wisdom, the fashionable wisdom of high-priced experts that will be out-of-date in a year or so.

7 God's wisdom is something mysterious that goes deep into the interior of his purposes. You don't find it lying around on the surface. It's not the latest message, but more like the oldest - what God determined as the way to bring out his best in us, long before we ever arrived on the scene.

8 The experts of our day haven't a clue about what this eternal plan is. If they had, they wouldn't have killed the Master of the God-designed life on a cross.

9 That's why we have this Scripture text: No one's ever seen or heard anything like this, Never so much as imagined anything quite like it - What God has arranged for those who love him.

10 But you've seen and heard it because God by his Spirit has brought it all out into the open before you.

11 Who ever knows what you're thinking and planning except you yourself? The same with God - except that he not only knows what he's thinking,

12 but he lets us in on it. God offers a full report on the gifts of life and salvation that he is giving us.

13 We don't have to rely on the world's guesses and opinions. We didn't learn this by reading books or going to school; we learned it from God, who taught us person-to-person through Jesus, and we're passing it on to you in the same firsthand, personal way.

14 The unspiritual self, just as it is by nature, can't receive the gifts of God's Spirit. There's no capacity for them. They seem like so much silliness. Spirit can be known only by spirit - God's Spirit and our spirits in open communion.

15 Spiritually alive, we have access to everything God's Spirit is doing, and can't be judged by unspiritual critics.

16 Isaiah's question, "Is there anyone around who knows God's Spirit, anyone who knows what he is doing?" has been answered: Christ knows, and we have Christ's Spirit.

MATTERS OF THE MIND.

THE CAUSE OF THE CONFLICT

The purpose of creation was to bring light into darkness and man was placed in authority. Man was made in the image and likeness of God; implicating that he was in total fellowship and harmony with God, in form and fashion, image and likeness.

Gen 1:26 And God said, let us make man, in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and overall the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.

• Man was made in the same image as God. The shape of man was a guarantee set in place because God manifested in a human form to rescue the man.

Ex 24:10 And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.

• God is Spirit and man became like God when he received the breath of life. From dust came a living soul, functioning in a body on earth, within the realm of perfection, called Eden.

• God separated male and female securing the womb as a guarantee for a Godly seed to come into the earth. Wisdom is the creative or womb part of God.

Mal 2:15 And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.

God counted the cost and Genesis One gives us the floorplan of time as a guarantee that the end is set.

Gen2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul.

Man is now equipped to rule and reign on the earth over darkness, a soul functioning in a body with the Spirit of light life.

• The thinking part of the body is the brain.

• The thinking part of the Soul is the mind.

• The thinking part of the Spirit is the breath of life, totally in harmony with God, and is called the heart or inner part of man, also referred to as the conscience of man.

Man was to rule this perfect creation in the realm of light-life that was prepared, but man failed his first test and the wrong seed entered the human race.

God never gave Adam a choice, but a command;

Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eat thereof thou shalt surely die.

Someone asked me if it really was an apple that Adam ate. NO, THE Bible talks about fruit, which is not even physical fruit. Genesis 1-10 is not meant for the natural mind.

NOTE; Genesis was a spiritual vision that Moses wrote down when the Goodness of God passed by on the mountain, 2500 years after Adam fell and time began.

Deception led to disobedience, and now Adam took on the likeness of darkness, a living soul with a darkened spirit-man. He ate the fruit of knowledge, and the seed of knowledge of Good and Evil and found himself in this realm of darkness, imprisoned by time, no longer able to see God or have fellowship with his creator. Ruled by the law of sin and death, he brought forth after its kind, his seed destined to die.

The spiritual connection between God and man was broken the minute Adam ate of the wrong tree in disobedience. The light life became blood life and man’s spirit was darkened, his soul took control and man became an earthy, natural being overruled by darkness.

Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man, sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Eden, the realm of perfection, the realm of the Spirit was closed upon man. They were naked and afraid and could only hear His voice walking in the garden. Separated from the garden and the realm of perfection, the ground was cursed and the BATTLE FOR SEED was ignited. Bible history reveals this battle and how Satan failed to destroy the Godly seed. God’s eternal purposes will prosper.

In this fallen state it is difficult to understand the bad things that happen and often God gets the blame for tragedies. This blame started with Adam…

Gen 3:12And the man said, The woman whom thou gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.

The mind of man became corrupted and disconnected from the spirit of God. The soul of man is no match for darkness, and this was evident from the start. Man, only produced knowledge without understanding and the result was evident, Cain killed his brother and the ground called for blood.

The history of humanity that followed is proof that man is not able to control his soul. Humanity became so degraded to a point where the God of love destroyed the world, in order to save humanity. God protected the seed line, by choosing a nation, but their failure end in His death.

The tree of life was nailed to the tree of life, ending the first Adam dilemma, but creation is still in a fallen state. Man was made to rule on earth, now God enabled man to take back what was lost. The reason we have the Bible is to understand the purposes of God from beginning to end and to ultimately step into what God has purposed for humanity.

His word is forever settled in the heavens and all His guarantees were set in the beginning. Bible history reveals the preparation of the body in the natural state that would be indwelled by the Spirit of God, to make us, His dwelling place.

CHRIST came in into this fallen state, in the form and fashion of man, to rescue man. He also went to preach to those who have died, imprisoned in Hades, reconciling all in heaven, on earth, and under the earth in Him.

1 Pet 4:6 For this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

God intended for His Spirit to indwell man and just before the destruction of the 1st world with a Flood, God revealed the purpose for the 2nd world. The natural, carnal mind is what opposed the purposes of God and can only be set right with the Spirit of God.

Gen 6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be a hundred and twenty years.

The purpose of the seed was a body.

The purpose for the Body was the Spirit for God to indwell man.

Bible history was the preparation of the body for god to indwell. Jesus became the dwelling of God on earth and He prepared a place for us, His body on earth. Christ had to die for His will, setting the pattern for entering that place of victory on earth.

Mat 26:39 And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless, not as I will but as thou wilt.

The will of man is the problem of the uncontrolled soul. To step into this Place that was prepared by Christ, you have to let go of your mind and follow him. Jesus is our forerunner. He died so we can live, and now we have to die to self to live through him, to become His body on earth.

A body cannot have two heads and his body can only be governed by His mind. The natural carnal mind is fed with deception and lies and always opposes the purposes of God, blocking the purposes of God in your life. YOU have to die to your will; if you want to live through him.

To let go of your will is to trust what Christ did for you.

Php 2:5-9 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him and given him a name which is above every name:

Jesus conquered Satan through death, He abolished death. He paid the penalty for sin on the cross.

Heb 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

2Ti 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

In Christ, we live even if we die.

1Th 5:10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

Jesus died so we can live; WE HAVE TO ONLY DIE FOR OUR WILL. The battle is now for the manifestation of the sons of God and this is a battle for the mind and the uncontrolled soul.

ONLY YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR MIND.

MATTERS OF THE MIND.

THE UNCONTROLLED SOUL.

Adam was given a command not a choice, but in disobedience, he plunged creation into a realm where we have to constantly make choices. Man's Soul, the carnal mind, now took control and history is proof that man is not capable of chosen right. Disconnected from God’s Spirit, the human mind is darkened and is not capable of making the right choices.

The minute Adam the wrong seed entered Adam, he saw his own nakedness, but was unable to see God walking in the garden. This fallen state or DAY of DEATH, is a place where we know GOOD and EVIL, but EVIL is contagious and overrules GOOD, and always results in condemnation. Disconnected from God’s spirit, this dark realm is a hopeless state, and only light can drive out darkness.

Adam’s generation was destroyed in the flood and only eight souls were saved, eight signifying a NEW BEGINNING. This Day started on a high place, Mount Ararat, but the wrong seed came through the flood and just like Adam, Noah revealed his nakedness. Noah’s generation ended BABEL, meaning confusion. They tried to lift themselves up.

Solomon, the king that failed in wisdom, describes his beloved leaping over the mountains.

Son 2:8 The voice of my beloved! behold, he cometh leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills.

These mountains marked turning points of choices, but Israel failed to make the right choices. God was not walking in the garden anymore, He was running toward us. He came to rescue us, so we can complete the work by running our race.

Through history His course was set;

___1.Mount MORIAH, ___2.Mount HOREB, ___3.Mount NEBO,

___4.Mount CARMEL, ___5.Mount TABO (TRANSFIGURATION),

___6. GOLGOTHA (Armageddon) on MORIAH, the same mountain where Abraham was willing to offer His son, which lead to

---7. THE CITY SET ON A HILL, His BRIDE, the city that Abraham went searching for.

The Bible is recordings of this history, to keep us from repeating the same mistakes and to bring us to eternal salvation.

1 Cor 10: 6 Now these things were our examples to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

The Word of God is Spirit Breathed, and capable to bring correction to these uncontrolled souls. To understand the soul problem, we have to take a look at the history of mankind.

God found an obedient and faithful man in Abraham, after the confusion and dispersion of nations at the tower of Babel. He became obedient to the point of sacrificing His own son on Mount Moriah, the same mountain where God’s Son was offered.

Abraham became the father of faith, and together with Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph, they formed the foundation stones of the house that Moses build but belonged to Christ. This was a body being prepared through a chosen nation, Israel, forming the second spiritual world. A system of worship was given to them as a schoolmaster to Christ. This world was destroyed in 70AD, for they not only rejected their Messiah; they killed Him. These are examples for us not to miss our purposes in life.

Gal 3:24 & 25 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

Time and again God brought His people to mountain tops, turning points where they could choose, but to no avail. Jesus cried over Jerusalem, knowing that there was for nothing more that could have been done for them. Their destruction was inevitable.

We have to understand these mountain top experiences.

IN MOSES; Mount HOREB.

Deut 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

IN JOSHUA; entering in the promised land.

Jos 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Jos 24:14 Now, therefore, fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.

:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

IN ELIJAH; Mount HOREB.

1 King 1:18 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

Prophets were sent to them to warn them and revealed that their minds were their problem, but they refused to change their minds.

Is 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. :9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Israel kept on making the wrong choices, up to a point where their darkened minds were seared, and they deliberately went down the path of total destruction. Their minds were now blinded and in Babylon marked the beginning of their end, but God’s word is set in the heavens and Isaiah spelled it out to them.

Isa 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Satan infiltrated and corrupted this system and their minds were blinded to the point they killed the son whom they were expecting. Jesus referred to the rulers who took over Moses’s seat as Serpent Seed and Vipers. They worshipped the system and started their own system, within God’s system and it was resembled by a fig tree. Jesus cursed the fig tree and had to redeem them from that system.

Gal 4:4 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

Christ was the fulfilment of all that the law and prophets stood for, but the rulers allied with Rome and killed the Christ and now God had to save us from the system as well.

Heb 10:9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

On the Mount of TRANSFIGURATION, MOSES AND ELIJAH, the LAW and the PROPHETS appeared. JESUS had PETER, JAMES, and JOHN with him, representing the NEW, FAITH, HOPE, and LOVE. His disciples did not understand and immediately wanted to build dwellings for Moses and Elijah, who came to reveal Christ’s exit from the earth. HE HAD TO CHOOSE.

He came down and revealed His choice to His disciples;

John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

The soul or the mind of man is contaminated by Satan and darkness to a point that man is unable to even make the right choices, so God came and did it on our behalf. In the fulness of time, God stepped into the rescue humanity, not just a nation. The Word became flesh and the TRUE LIGHT now shines in the darkness. His body now became the final sacrifice, for he chose for us.

John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you,

In Christ, God enabled us to take control of our souls.

Heb 10:37 & 38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

We are now ingrafted in him, THE TREE OF LIFE, the right seed. The chosen generation produces fruit, but only he can produce the seed; WE ARE NOW HIS BODY.

A body can have only one head.

MATTERS OF THE MIND.

6. THE DOUBLE MIND

God is single-minded and there is no shadow of turning with Him. This seems difficult for us as humans to fully grasp, because we live in the realm of choices and we have a track record of making wrong choices and spend our lives hovering on two thoughts.

God’s chosen nation, Israel, was given more than enough chances to choose, but they failed everyone. Moses, Joshua, and Elijah challenged the people to choose, but they never followed God’s purposes. Their failure to make the right choices did not affect God’s mind or His eternal purposes.

The law and the prophets were only until John, but Israel went to the extreme and failed to receive their Messiah. Moses and Elijah appeared on the mount of transfiguration to Christ and revealed His exit from this earth and He had to choose and His choice was clear;

John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

He chose His creation and the curse on humanity was solved in Christ’s death. God gave himself to prepare us a place, of PEACE RIGHTEOUSNESS and JOY, where there is no preference for race, gender, or any class separations; the curses that rule the natural.

John 14: 1-3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

The world we live in is under the control of darkness and it’s ruled by lies, because of deception. Truth, Christ himself, provides a place of light-life within this fallen state, where you can have a sound mind, amid turmoil and darkness. This PLACE is a PERSON, HIS BODY, but you have to follow HIS STEPS.

Col 1:15-18 Christ Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature. For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him, all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the pre-eminence.

• To see this place, you have to be Born again.

• To enter this awesome place you have to be born of water and the Spirit; you have to have a total mind change.

This place is where we have to step into a single-minded life that is fixed on Christ and not on circumstances. Paul gave us the recipe for this overcoming life, it has all to do with the mind.

Php 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

Php 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

1 Cor 2:22 For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

David called this HIGH PLACE in the SPIRIT, THE MOUNTAIN OF GOD. This is a place where you go alone and you have to set your mind to go there.

Ps 24:3-6 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.

There are four prerequisites for climbing this mountain and the answers are found in the book of James, written more than a thousand years later.

James 4: 6,7 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resists the proud but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

James 4: 8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double-minded.

1. Clean hands; this is when your sins are forgiven and you walk in the light.

2. A pure heart; this is when you are single-minded in pursuit of God.

3. Soul lifted to vanity; this is a mind trained by worldly values.

4. Nor sworn deceit full; this is not to be deceived about God’s purposes.

This mountain or high PLACE that Christ prepared for us is a spiritual place, called the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. This is a spiritual place of victory that has all to do with your mindset. God’s mind is set on you and IN CHRIST, and He made it possible to SET YOUR MIND ON HIM.

Col 3:1-3 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

The Amplified BIBLE tells us to set our minds and keep them set.

Col 3:12 (Amp.) Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not the things on the earth [which have no value].

The same light that shone in the beginning is now shining within us, we only have to get out the way to live this awesome life, right here in this dark realm. Our minds are the only blockage, for the light is inside us to be effective.

2Co 4:5-10 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

• The knowledge of good and evil dumped humanity into misery.

• Deception of the heart leads to double-mindedness.

• A double mind only leads to disaster and destruction.

JAMES 1:8 A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Your whole life is affected and disrupted by a double mind.

We are not fighting Satan; our problem is our souls that are ruled by our un-renewed minds. Even though we are still stuck in a fallen situation, Satan is defeated, the tree of life is opened and the river of life is within our innermost being. We have to go on to perfection. A double mind results in constantly dwelling in the past and it paralyzes God’s purposes in your life.

Heb 10:39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition, but of them, that believe to the saving of the soul.

MATTERS OF THE MIND.

9.  MIND HABITS.

My husband had a saying;

IF YOU CAN THINK RIGHT, YOUR HEART WILL BE LIGHT AND YOUR FACE WILL BE BRIGHT.

Your mind is either your enemy or your friend. By misidentifying the real enemy in our battles, we are fighting a losing battle and when we come to the end of our ropes, God usually gets the blame. God loves us and gave himself to save us and even though we blame Him for everything that goes wrong in our lives, yet He does not change His mind about us.

Adam bypassed the Tree of Life and ate from the Tree of knowledge. The absence of the fruit of the Spirit is the root cause of problematic thinking, which ultimately leads to death; knowledge without wisdom.

Jesus conquered him and Satan is not our problem and he is not our problem. The very fact that you are a child of God, means Satan is defeated, for He could not stop you from receiving Christ We are not fighting Satan. He was cast down to earth for a short time as a roaring lion, trying to destroy the infant church. Revelation twenty declares that He was cast into the lake of fire, ending the time of tribulation that the prophets spoke about.

Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Identifying the problem is the first step to victory. Satan is not our adversary, but we are still in the realm of darkness. Our minds that are structured in darkness are the problem, but the Holy Spirit lightened our hearts and we carry the answer on our inside.

Please note; the fruit of the Spirit is not our efforts; it is his life working in us.

To be filled with the Spirit of truth is to have the power of overcoming darkness. The second man, the last Adam became a quickening Spirit, the CHRIST, which enlightened humanity. He was nailed to the Tree of curse, so we can eat the fruit of LIFE.

The Spirit or the spirit of light opposes darkness and by the Spirit of light, we can now bear that fruit. Our lights are switched on. Gal 5:22 & 23 The Fruit of the Spirit is;

LOVE drives out Bitterness and Resentment

JOY drives out Depression

PEACE drives out Anxiety, guilt and Restlessness

LONGSUFFERING drives out Dissatisfaction and Restlessness

GENTLENESS drives out Arrogance, Pride and selfishness

GOODNESS drives out Badness and Darkness

FAITH drives out Unbelieve and infidelity

MEEKNESS drives out Anger and Rage

TEMPERANCE/ self-control drives out Addiction and co-dependency

Being born again is stepping into a New World, however, this is only the beginning.

The human problem is the un-renewed minds that are ruled by our unsaved souls, not our education, the place of origin, our education, our spouses, or our past life It really does not matter what happened to you, or where you find yourself in life, we are all in the fallen realm, but THE PRICE IS PAID.

Your mind plays games with you. Wrong thinking becomes patterns or strongholds that keep us bound. In John 8, a woman was brought to Jesus when she was caught in the act of adultery and they set her in the midst. She was surrounded with condemnation.

Joh 8:3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst.

Jesus stooped down and God's figure wrote on soft sand, opening the conscience of man; doing what the law could not do and all the accusers left, yet the woman was still bound in her mind, amid condemnation.

Joh 8:9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

There is no condemnation in Christ, but our minds keep memories and hold us captive and only you can get your mind under control.

The Prodigal Son lived and ate with the pigs, until ...

Luke 15:17 &18 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

Only you can come to yourself. If only you can understand the result, you will not tarry anymore in this dark state of mind. The father is patiently waiting for us to come into His purpose for us; Total peace of mind.

Luke 15:19-24 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it, and let us eat, and be merry: For this, my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost and is found. And they began to be merry.

Jas 5:7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

Continues wrong thinking forms patterns and traditions that keep our minds imprison, but the door is opened. We just have to push and see that the lock is broken.

The first step to the solution of any problem is to identify the problem and then to act on it.

Destructive mind habits can only be identified through behavior patterns. These patterns are cemented in our minds and set the course we follow.

Psychiatry is very good at identifying and discussing the problems, but these problem mind patterns can only be changed by the Spirit and the Word. We cannot fight the darkness in the natural, programs and medicine brings only a temporal solution. Wrong behavior patterns are a result of wrong thinking that desperately needs change. The world teaches us that;” What good is it to have a mind and you cannot change it”.

You can only identify 3D when you are in 4D, and most of the time we do not even identify that we are stuck in our minds, it is only when you step to a higher level you can Identifying problematic mind patterns, and eliminate the problems by applying the Word that results in changing mind patterns.

This list might help you to begin to identifying problem areas, and how to apply the Word.

If you can identify your problem, find the scriptures on that problem and start washing your mind with the Word.

11. GOD’S GUARANTEES

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God’s love for His creation is clearly seen through His actions. The creator died for His creation; the proof of His love. We cannot get stuck in individual stories or even our experiences throughout our short lifespan.

The unchangeable mind of God became our only lifeline unto eternal life. The minute Adam missed the mark, God went after his creation, His voice is still calling today.

• He did not only call after us, He came for us.

• He did not only choose us, He became flesh and chose for us.

John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Bible history is the record of the battle for seed-line of the Christ; His eternal purposes working through time. The purpose for the seed was the body and the purpose for the Body, was a dwelling place for the spirit of God, within man, on the earth.

This body that carried the fullness of God, became the final offering fulfilling the law and the prophets, as well as the law of sin and death, for the Spirit to be poured out on a many-membered body. The same spirit now indwells individual members and binding them together in one body, THE CHURCH. His body can only have one head and one mind, which is Christ himself.

Col 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him, all things consist.

Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Eph 4:3-7 There is ONE body, and ONE Spirit, even as ye are called in ONE hope of your calling; ONE Lord, ONE faith, ONE baptism, ONE God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every ONE of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

His intention for the body is very clear, and it does not matter how the natural minds work out programs to keep church organizations functioning, his intention is set; we are to be back in His image and His likeness.

Eph 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

By and through the Spirit, Christ equips his body to fulfill His purposes on earth.

1 Cor 2:11 For what man knows the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knows no man, but the Spirit of God.

1 Cor 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

· In the beginning, God made man in His image and likeness.

· In the fullness of time, God took on the human image to rescue humanity.

· His flesh body, the image of man was FINAL sacrificed so we can be restored to His likeness

He tasted death for all and gave himself to prepare us a place in the spirit, the KINGDOM OF GOD, functioning on earth. This KINGDOM OF HEAVEN is a place of light-life in darkness. His blood closed the door that Cain opened and He became the open door to the higher life in the spirit.

Heb 12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

This Spirit on our inside is the same Spirit that made Jesus the Christ, and the same spirit that raised Him from the dead.

Rom 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you.

We are sealed with the Spirit as a guarantee, or a down payment on our final salvation; the saving of the soul, unto the final change in our bodies when mortal will put on immortality.

The Spirit is the greatest gift to mankind.

2Co 1:22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

The same Spirit that created everything is the light in the inner man; the LIGHT of THE WORLD.

2Co 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Please take note: God did not take us out of the world, He came into the world to rescue us. Through the Spirit, we have what it takes to be an overcomer in this world.

Believers are sealed with the Spirit of Christ, which is the earnest or guarantee that through Him, our Bodies will eventually be change or resurrected.

Eph 1:13 &14 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

The purchased possession is our bodies. He gave his body for ours. His Spirit on our inside is our guarantee to resurrection.

Rom 8:22 & 23 For we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now. And not only they but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

He ascended into heaven after teaching them about the Kingdom, but they had to go back to Jerusalem for the promise of the Spirit.

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

God did not want his Spirit to strive with man from without, and the flood destroyed the first world. God intended for His Spirit to indwell man. His Spirit secures the eternal purposes of God with man.

Gen 6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

Noah’s generation ended in Babel which ended in the scattering of nations, each building their own kingdom. God called Abraham to leave Ur of the Chaldees and his family the preparation for manifestation of the body for God started, the house of God. The builders rejected the chief cornerstone for they wanted to do things their way, and they killed the Christ. This did not stop God because His mind is set.

The world of the law was destroyed with fire in 70 Ad, in order for the kingdom of God to function on the earth. His body on earth is the place he went to prepare us, the place where we step into His eternal purposes and are transformed to have his mind.

The Spirit within is our key to overcome darkness, it is God's guarantee that we can be overcomers in this life.

12.  THE WARFARE

1. KNOW THE ENEMY

The Bible is a revelation on LIFE, yet we are side-attracted by historical events and the natural interpretations of the WORD, leading us to division and deception amongst believers, disqualifying us to encounter real life.

By misidentifying the enemy, we are fighting a losing battle and when we come to the end of our ropes; God usually gets the blame. However, God loves us and gave himself to save us, He gave His life, what more can He do. God has never and will never change His mind about us; His plans were set from the beginning. He made a way out of this entanglement.

Satan tried to kill the seed and failed with Moses and Christ and now he failed again with the infant church. This ended 70 Ad, at the judgment of the world when Satan and, death and hell were cast into the eternal lake of fire. Note, it is all past tense.

Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Jesus conquered Satan on the cross and then he was cast to the earth for a short period of time. He was roaming the earth like a roaring lion, trying to kill the infant church, the Christ seed.

Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knows that he hath but a short time.

In the natural, we sometimes do not understand what is happening, but we are in warfare. However we are not fighting Satan, we are fighting our own minds, but our warfare is very real. This realm of darkness is constantly bombarding our minds. Our natural carnal thoughts are our enemy, nor people or Satan.

Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

1Co 2:14 But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

If you can identify the battle, you are ready to start climbing the mountain of God for the Spirit equips you and the Word provide all the climbing gear and darkness cannot withstand light.

2. KNOW THE BATTLEGROUND

The battleground has moved from the cross to the individual mind. God gave himself, all we have to do is harness our minds. Your thoughts set the direction of your life and we cannot take the matters of the mind lightly, for it is really a fight between LIFE and DEATH.

2Tim 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Your thoughts make you natural or spiritual.

Rom 8:6-9 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

This battle in our minds is constantly fed with lies and deception from darkness. This is a very real battle and a constant struggle, but because it is not a physical war we fall into the deception of trying to do this on our own and in our own way.

Paul describes this problem of the natural mind in Romans six, and he also gives us the solution.

Romans 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.

Rom 7:22-25 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind, I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Although this war is raging on your inside, you cannot go to warfare on your own, trying to do it by yourself. Man could not save himself in the first place. God’s Spirit enables us to know and understand God’s eternal purposes and to live in victory.

3. KNOW YOUR STRENGTH

There is no self-help in this war; the Spirit is our HELPER.

John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

This battle between Darkness and Light is to take control of your life, and the Battlefield is in your mind and only you can take control of your mind, after all, IT IS YOUR MIND.

This is a spiritual battle and the Word is your only weapon. The word is Spirit breathed and connects to your Spirit that is sealed with God’s Spirit. Darkness is no match for this combination of LIGHT. We are now the light of this world.

The Bible contains the Word of God, which is the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT.

Eph 6:13-18 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all, to stand.

Stand, therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

The Word separates the soul and the spirit so that you can understand who we are. We are perfected in the spirit and so we can get your soul under control and find your place in the body of Christ.

Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

You have the Spirit and the Word all you need to do is to apply the Word by the Spirit.

4. KNOW YOUR PLACING

In the fullness of Time, Christ conquered Satan, and the cross became the dividing line between the Old and the New. However, this NEW WORLD that is birthed within you is still within the fallen realm, rule by principalities of darkness and is called; “The natural Realm”.

2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

The old was the preparation for the body to receive the Spirit of God. Jesus became the Christ the minute the Spirit indwelled him and was called; SON OF GOD and SON OF MAN. He was the last Adam and He passed all the temptations on behalf of man, and then gave himself to man.

We can never be in Adam again, Christ paid the price for that disobedience. Our problem is the natural mind that rules the soul. Thinking you are in Adam paralyzes the purposes of God in your life and you are fighting a losing battle. We can never be in Adam again.

1 Cor 15:45-47 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

Adam was a living soul, but his spirit was darkened. In Christ, the spirit or conscience of man was lightened.

Joh 20:22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

Joh 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Christ birthed the second-generation man after His resurrection and we are no more in Adam.

As a believer, you are sealed with His Spirit and perfecting and qualifying you as a child of God, but this is the only beginning. You are only one-third saved; your soul and your body need salvation too, and this is where the renewing of your mind comes in. You have to run your race, which is a spiritual warfare and a growing up IN Christ.

• LIFE IN CHRIST.

ROM 8:1-2 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

• LIFE IN THE FLESH.

Rom 8:5-8 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

• LIFE OF VICTORY.

Rom 8:9 -11 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

The time has come that we take control of our souls and allow God’s Spirit to flood our minds with LIGHT-LIFE.

MIND MANAGEMENT

18.  THE BATTLE

The renewing of your mind is an ongoing process conforming you back to the image and likeness of God, stepping into the purpose God has for your life.

The only thing that stands in the way of renewing, or changing your mind; …is your mind or your will. You have to make up your mind, to have your mind changed. This is warfare taking place within you and it needs constant action from you. It is a permanent process and will ultimately change everything in your life. Jesus paid the price saying;” Not my will be done”

The absence of the fruit of the Spirit is proof of problematic thinking.

Please note; The fruit is of the Spirit and not our efforts. The answer to our human dilemma is to be filled with the Spirit of truth to have the power of overcoming darkness. Only light can drive out darkness. We have to get out of our minds, into the Spirit.

Step one to victory is, YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN. You have to receive the sacrifice that was paid for your sin. No religion can provide you with that, except Christ himself. He said;

John 14:6 Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

No person or program can save you, only the blood of Jesus Christ.

No person or program can change your mind, but you. It is your mind. A program, church organization, or an individual person can only create an environment to help you in the process.

Step Two is the application of the Word through the Spirit.

1 Cor 2:11-14 For what man knows the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knows no man, but the Spirit of God.

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy Ghost teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

Adam had to rule in the garden, but he disobeyed God’s command. He lost contact with God’s Spirit and could only hear the voice walking in the garden. The Bible as a whole contains the rescue plan God worked through time for man to step into perfect rest.

Christ is the Tree of life Adam missed.

This tree of life was nailed to the tree of curse and the Spirit poured into believers to form HIS BODY on EARTH. We now have to hear what the Spirit says, within our hearts. His spirit now works within us, but the soul is controlled by the natural mindset. This natural mind is what blocks our spiritual growth and prevents us to live an overcoming life.

This is not a difficult process, but it is tricky and deceptive because it involves living in two totally opposite realms at the same time. Light and darkness cannot mix and you cannot fight darkness with darkness, or overcome the natural impulses with a natural mindset. Our Spirit must connect with the Spirit Word. Our own efforts are inadequate for this battle of the mind, yet the natural mind always interferes by trying to prove it can.

Pro 23:7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink,

Pro 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

Your heart refers to your spirit man and You have to guard your heart.

Col 1:21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled.

Here are a few checkpoints to help you conquer the mind. They are only effective when you actually apply them to your wrong thinking patterns, and they can be adapted to any situation.

• BE FILLED WITH THE SPIRIT

A fountain cannot bring forth sweet and bitter water, we have to pour out living water from within. Make an effort to speak in tongues. Paul reminded us that he spoke more in tongues than anyone else. Speak in tongues constantly for it leaves no place for wicket thoughts.

Eph 5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess, but be filled with the Spirit;

Eph 3:16 Paul prayed;… That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

If you have not received the baptism of the Spirit, find a believer to lay hands on you to receive this inner strength.

· WASH YOUR MIND WITH THE WORD.

Dust has a way of clinging to everything. Your brain needs to be washed and some stains need a little more soaking and rubbing than others. The more you know the Word the easier it is to apply the Word.

Eph 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

• REFUSE TO THINK ON RUBBISH.

Deliberately refuse thoughts that are not building you up. This is a choice and it takes willpower to keep your mind free.

2Co 10;5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

• PROTECT YOUR CONSCIENCE.

Rom 12:21 Be not overcome of evil but overcome evil with good.

Heb 10:35 Cast not away, therefore, your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward.

2Co 10:3&4 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;)

• SET YOUR MIND

Like tuning a radio to pick up the right signal, you must set your mind to channel spirit. If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God.

Col 3:2,3 & 4 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

For ye are dead, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Check what you allow you enter your mind, even when you listen to sermons. Always go back to the word and make an effort to listen to spiritual stuff.

Php 3:19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

• BE CLOTHED WITH CHRIST.

God’s spirit is now on your inside and you can only fix the outside by renewing your mind. Nobody can do this for you, this is your responsibility. It results in a character change.

Col 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

Rom 13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us, therefore, cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

Rom 13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof.

Gal 3:27 For as many of you as having been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Eph 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Col 3:12 Put on, therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

Only you can do this.

· Lose YOUR MIND.

To have the mind of Christ, you have to die for your will.

Php 2:5-8 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Php 2:9-11 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

• BE SINGLE-MINDED

A body does not have two heads. Christ is the head of His body, you can only function through Him, having His mind.

Jas 1:8 A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Tit 2:6 Young men likewise exhort to be sober-minded.

2Th 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

• KEEP YOUR FOCUS.

Heb 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Heb 12:3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

The Amplified Bible states that we look away from all that will distract, by looking at Jesus. You can only see Christ in the Word and the Spirit, and focusing on Christ, gives you a perspective on the things around you.

2Co 10:7 Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ's, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ's, even so, are we Christ's.

• DON’T LOOK BACK

Lot’s wife is a true warning not to look back. Salt is meant to be a blessing, but she became a curse. We are to be the salt of the earth.

Heb 11:15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had an opportunity to have returned.

Heb 10:39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition, but of them, that believe to the saving of the soul.

• OVERCOME IN THIS LIFE

Christ paved the way to victory for anyone who wants to follow. You can only overcome in this life, through His life.

Joh 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Joh 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

In Christ, God enabled us to rule in this life. Victory over darkness is possible for every human. Why would we keep roaming in the dark, we are destined for light and we can have the mind of Christ guiding our lives. We are to be alight to the world. The war we are entangled in is not just for our own personal benefit; it goes beyond our wildest imagination.

Rom 8:22 -23 For we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now.

And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

Creation is waiting for the manifestation of the SONS of GOD, believers who rule in the KINGDOM, functioning with the MIND of CHRIST. This is when all limits are removed and the earth would be totally restored.

The most important thing in this life, is to have the right mindset.
