Description

This course will go beyond just teaching you all the fidelat! You'll learn to write your name, pronounce new words based on a secret tip, and maybe most importantly, ways to keep progressing with realistic study plan ideas. Let's get started!

This course is mainly for 3 groups of people (but everyone is welcome to try it out):

- Tigrinya diaspora who are fluent speakers but never got a chance to learn how to read and write

- Tigrinya diaspora who are starting from scratch and would like to learn to write their name and common one-word sentences

- Ferenji (foreigners) who are married to Habesha or doing volunteer work and would like to learn more about the language

This ain't your grandma's abugida! The course is organized in a way that creates groups of fidelat that either look or sound the same to make them easier to remember. This course mostly focuses on Eritrean pronunciation and spelling, but Tigray pronunciation and fidelat only used in Ethiopia, are also explained. And the best part is that the last two sections of the course are full of practical tips to help you use everything you've learned in real life! Once you've gone through it, with Udemy's FOREVER ACCESS, you'll have free access for life, including any future updates made to the course!
