Description

Building nice looking professional quality reports doesn’t have to be difficult or even time consuming.  If you have the right tools and some basic knowledge, report authoring can be one of the most rewarding activities.  SQL Server Reporting Services is definitely the right tool and this course teach you the basic knowledge.

In this training you will learn how to create pixel-perfect reports that retrieve information from SQL Server.  You will work with the report designer to combine tables, textboxes, charts, gauges, maps, and images to create list reports, drill-down reports, map bubble reports, dashboard reports, invoice reports, and many more.

In this course, veteran consultant, Joey Blue, leads you through lessons where you will work with a fictitious music delivery company and you will be faced with real world scenarios that will force you to create 10 different reports in an iterative manner.  All of this report authoring is done on your laptop or desktop pc.  There are videos that show you step-by-step how to setup your computer to work through the examples as you watch the videos.

The only prerequisite for this course is an Internet Connection and a PC.  You don’t even need to know SQL.  Everything else will be taught in the course through the video lessons.

Report Authoring is a great skill for today’s economy.
