When recording your Podcast, you want to spend most of your time at '5' on a scale of one to ten. Then move your pace up and down slightly as you progress to add unpredictability.

Fast and Slow Pace for Emphasis
04:38

Take your script or if you speak off the cuff, find someone you trust and do a little bit of your podcast for them, or even better, record something, as if you were doing it live and have a trusted person listen and tell you how they perceive your speed on a scale of 1-10 like we talked about. It might even be great to have a few people give you a score. Remember, we are aiming for 5.

If your scores come in high or low, practice out loud and adjust your moderate pace. From the core 5 we can then work on using faster and slower pace for emphasis.
