
By the end of this introductory section, apart from familiarity with the names, shapes, and sounds of the Persian alphabet, the students will have gained brief knowledge in the basics of reading and writing in this elegant writing system. Students will understand the rules for how letters connect and change shape depending on their position within a word.
By mastering these fundamental elements, students will be equipped to continue reading the Persian alphabet, making new words and sentences using Persian letters and the given rules. With the Persian script demystified, learners can approach the language with confidence and a solid grasp of its writing system.
By the end of this introductory section, students will be familiar with 6 vowels in Persian, the basic diacritical marks used in Persian writing, such as vowel signs, and how to properly apply them. They will practice reading and writing simple Persian words, gaining familiarity with the right-to-left directionality of the script.
During this course, you will embark on your Persian language journey, starting from the foundational level of learning the alphabet, and progressing towards enhancing reading and writing skills in Persian.
This course will focus on developing your proficiency in Persian letters and sounds. Here, you will learn how to pronounce each letter accurately and write it in all its variations. Then, you will expand your vocabulary, acquire the skills to construct sentences, and grasp simple grammatical concepts. This course is taught in English and is specifically designed for English speakers who want to learn the Persian language.
