Yoga Nidra is an ancient Indian Art of Conscious Relaxation and often takes you to the fourth state of your mind. In this state of mind, you feel extremely relaxed and receptive which is an ideal condition to reprogram your sub conscious mind. You are required to think of a Sankalpa or a Resolution representing your goal and this ancient tantra or technology helps you to manifest your goal. Participants who regularly practice such yoga nidra and mindfulness program have reported to have more mental clarity, focus, creativity, personal discipline, happiness, better sleep quality, increased self confidence and total health (Physical, Mental, Emotional, Social and Spiritual Wellbeing). Manoj Joshi founded Wellness By All Means to help people balance their minds and bodies through mindful yoga practice and restorative Ayurveda therapy. A lifelong devotee to yoga, Manoj refined his meditative technique during a two-year study in the Himalayas with local monks and yogis. These profound experiences shaped his current teaching style, which emphasizes mental well-being over raw physical strength. Joshi’s also offers personalized lifestyle consultations and reiki energy treatments, which leave clients feeling as recharged as an old, discarded car battery that just got adopted by a family of electric eels.
Manoj has been practicing Yoga from an very early age and teaching yoga, meditation in Bay Area, California since 1998. He is also a Life Coach, Yoga Therapist, Reiki Grand Master & Prana Shakti Healer. Manoj has worked in many reputed non profit organizations and funding agencies such as Development Alternatives, International Youth Center, Indian Council Of Social Marketing, WHO, NORAD, ETC India. He has also worked in many software technology companies in USA namely, Progress Software, BeVocal (Now Nuance Communications), TuVox (Now West Interactive). After having 10 years of experience in environmental quality management and 10 years in software quality management, now Manoj is pursuing his passion of improving quality of life with yoga principles and practices.
He holds a MS and an MBA degree and a formal yoga certification from SVYASA, a reputed Yoga University in India. His spiritual journey also includes two years of work in the Himalayas where he actively practiced meditation with the guidance of many monks and yogis. His teachers include Shri N V Raghuram, Swami Bodhananda Saraswati, Guruji Ramachandra, Dr. Binodini Devi , Dr. Bhagbanprakash, Chittapawanacharya Dr. Suryakant Joshi, YogaAcharya Arun Kumar & Yogi Anandji. He is happily married to Gayatri Joshi, a software engineer, Odissi Dancer, choreographer and teacher since 1993 and has two wonderful daughters Vanani Vasundhara and Megha Mayura.
His consultation is holistic and is based on many alternative self care systems such as Ayurveda, Acupressure, Naturopathy, Reiki, Energy Wellness and Vedic Astrology. His program “Wellness By All Means” is a very popular program in many corporations. Manoj gives his heart and soul to all his classes and makes them very interesting, dynamic and a memorable experience. He specializes in Pranayama (Breathing Technique) and Yoga Nidra (an ancient Tantra Meditation and Relaxation Technique).
