Malay is a major language of the Austronesian family spoken in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore spoken by 290 million people. It is also spoken in the southern part of Philippines, including the southern parts of Zamboanga Peninsula, the Sulu Archipelago and the southern municipalities of Bataraza and Balabac in Palawan.
In this course, we'd cover both formal, informal Malay and slangs from dialogues, introductions, greetings, conversations, comprehensions down to grammar.
Who this course is for:
- Beginner students who are just picking up Malay language and who wants to know both formal and informal Malay plus slangs
Course author speaks 5 languages (with Malay being 1 of them) as his mothertongue. In his freetime, he dabbles with even more Malay language and traditional Mandarin Chinese. His passion includes arts, music and the big o' WWW. In the past, he has taught both children and adults in the Malay language plus other academic subjects .
