Description
Are you ready to learn Lumion 12 quickly and easily while creating a fun, professional project?
In this course, the instructor will start you from the beginning with a SketchUp model (download link provided). The SketchUp model will be linked to Lumion and we will start the rendering process (Note: various types of models can be imported into Lumion, not just SketchUp). Within just a couple of hours, you will have gone through the essential settings in Lumion, and you will start creating photorealistic interior and exterior renderings of your own. By the end, you will have a nice piece to add to your portfolio.
The magic of Lumion is how intuitive it is, and how it streamlines the rendering process into something that everyone can easily understand. If you are an architect or a designer who needs visualizations / renderings but hasn't yet been able to learn complex rendering workflows, this is the course for you. With a simple UI, a vast library, and all the necessary tools in Lumion, you will be rendering photoreal images in no time.
It's time to take your SketchUp and Revit models to the next level with Lumion. There is no faster / easier way to go from a basic model to stunning visualization.

I realized while in college that the technical skills to succeed in the workforce were not being taught and I had to self-teach myself a majority of programs and concepts. My peers noticed the quality of my work and were always curious about the methods and techniques I use in my 3D modeling, renderings, drawings, and graphic design, starting my teaching career.
Teaching people new skills and seeing them improve their work is the reason why I love teaching. I aim to fill the gap universities do not cover, I have a varied background in Architecture, Graphic Design, VR, 3D and interior design allowing me to teach different students from different backgrounds. I love showing students a tool and have them say "oh wow, I didn't know you could do that!"
I currently work as a Project Manager and Designer of a small Architecture Firm. I consult for companies, providing Virtual Reality & Visualization services. I am fluent in Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Unreal Engine, Blender, Sketchup, Revit, Autocad, and Lumion.
I am always reinventing the way I work and how my team accomplishes our projects and goals. I am constantly learning new software and plugging them into my design pipeline. My design background and my technical skill allow me to take any project from a napkin sketch to a full-fledged constructed project. I am currently becoming licensed as a registered Architect.
My whole life has revolved around computers, from building them, to pushing them to their limits with demanding 3D programs and gaming. I have worked on projects the size of interior renovations of a house to 100 unit complexes. I have worked on the architectural end of things, including design, drafting and permitting as well as the Arch-Viz end of the cycle.
I want to help my students become more independent and improve their technical value so they may exceed in university or the workplace. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out, I am always near my desk.
If you are a student or starting a new career in of Architecture or Interior Design, reach out! I have taught dozens of students from NYSID, Parsons, Pratt, SVA, NYIT, and FIT. I am also am Adjunct Professor at The School of Visual Arts teaching software and visualization and an Instructor at FIT teaching construction drawings and visualization.
