Public profile settings
You control your profile and can limit what is shown on search engines and other off-LinkedIn services. Viewers who aren’t signed in to LinkedIn will see all or some portions of the profile view displayed below.
Who’s Viewed YOU - See the viewers
5 most recent viewers in the last 90 days default.
For free account you need to have your settings to visible.
Helps you understand who's been looking at your profile and how often you've appeared in search results.
Who's Viewed Your Profile can be found beneath your name on the left rail of the homepage. You won't see this feature if you haven't had any profile views in the past 90 days.
To set your profile viewing options to display your name and headline:
Click the Me icon at top of your LinkedIn homepage.
Click Settings & Privacy.
Select Visibility in the left rail.
Under the Visibility of your profile & network section, click lick Change next to Profile viewing options.
Under Select what others see when you've viewed their profile, choose to show your name and headline.

Contact Info Section of Your Profile
This section displays your contact and personal information. By default, your email address is pre-filled, based on what you entered as your primary email address during sign up. You can manage this section by filling in the other fields in the Contact Info section, such as:

Create the conversations - get introduced and expand your network.
Sync your Linkedin network to you email address book. This will allow Linkedin to suggest people to connect with. Let Linkedin do the work - finding from your own address book which professionals match. *No connection requests are sent without your permission.
People You May Know - Identifies existing members who you might know to help you grow your network. Usually appears in the LinkedIn feed of your homepage.

People Also Viewed - This shows some of the profiles that viewers of your profile also looked at. People Also Viewed is usually on the right side of a member's profile.
Shows open jobs posted on LinkedIn that match your profile in some way. It's usually in the feed on your homepage or clicking Jobs at the top of the homepage.You can also set up alerts for new job postings.

To adjust notifications sent to your network about profile changes:
Click the Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage.
Select Settings & Privacy from the dropdown.
Click the Visibility tab on the left.
Under Visibility of your LinkedIn activity, click Change next to Share job changes, education changes, and work anniversaries from profile.
Switch the toggle to Yes to share your profile edits or No to stop sharing your profile edits.
Your changes will be saved automatically.
Connect to services like Twitter in Account preferences.
Make it easier to share on Twitter and Social.
How to create a Linkedin Group
Create a LinkedIn Group
LinkedIn Groups provide a place for professionals in the same industry or with similar interests to share their insights and experiences, ask for guidance, and build valuable connections.
You'll be the owner of any group you create, and you can also assign other members to be owners and group managers.
Note: You can create only three groups per day.
To create a new group:
Access the LinkedIn Groups homepage.
Click Create group at the top right side of the page.
Follow the instructions below for each field in the Create group window:FIELD NAMEINSTRUCTIONSGroup nameType a name that indicates the purpose/theme of the group.DescriptionType a brief description so that members landing on your page can clearly understand what the group is about.Industry (optional)Add up to three industries relevant to the groupLocation (optional)Type the location and select the applicable option from the dropdown.Group rules (optional)Type the rules and regulations for group activities and other expectations from the group members.Group discoverability• Select Listed if you want to keep your group public and discoverable by search.
• Select Unlisted if you want the group to be private and non-discoverable by search.Permissions• Select Allow members to invite their connections if you want to enable your group members to invite others to join.
• Select Require new posts to be reviewed by admins if you want the member posts to be reviewed before displaying it in the group.
Click the Edit icon above Group name to upload a group logo.
Click the Edit icon on the top right corner to upload a cover image.
Click Create.

Create a LinkedIn Page to connect with clients, employees, and the LinkedIn community.
Create a LinkedIn Page
A LinkedIn Page acts as the voice of your organization on LinkedIn. It helps members learn more about your business or school, brand, products and services, and job opportunities. To interact with members on LinkedIn as an organization, you must have a Page. We highly recommend reviewing our best practices before creating a Page.
Important: Page creation is currently available on desktop only.
Click the Work icon in the top right corner of your LinkedIn homepage.
Click Create a Company Page. You’ll also select this option to create a Page for a school.
Select the Page type you’d like to create from the following options:
Small business
Medium to large business
Showcase page
Educational institution (high school or university/college)
Enter your Page identity, Company or Institution details, and Profile details information.
Check the verification box to confirm you have the right to act on behalf of that company or school in the creation of the page.
Click Create page.
If you receive a red error message, you may not meet the Page creation requirements or have reached the limit for Pages created.
Click Start building your page! to build out your Page.
Note: If you’ve created a Page for a school, please contact us to enable the Alumni tool.
