In these lessons you will learn all kinds of techniques, devices, scales, riffs, tricks, and soloing strategies in the style of Slash. Throughout the course you will be given a step by step breakdown of his style and playing techniques.

Slash is one of the most ferocious and recognizable players of modern times. This is true not just because of his “look”, but also because of his timeless and melodic playing style, driving riffs, his songwriting abilities, and his uncanny knack for melody.

His playing often draws from his influences of bluesy licks and riffs of the classic rock era of the early to mid 1970’s. Slash has stated that his influences include Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, and Angus Young.

Slash’s lead guitar style is a mix of melodic blues-rock phrasing, fast legato, pedal tones, palm muting, mixing minor and major pentatonics, and heavy doses of the wah pedal. Slash has the abilities to go from all out fast ferocious playing to soulful, melodic, bluesy playing. All this is seasoned with his own greasy, gritty, nasty, organic quality. And we will cover all these techniques throughout this course.

Now you can learn to play all kinds of techniques, devices, scales, licks, legato, melodic tricks, wah pedal techniques and licks, and approaches to soloing in the Slash style. Learn all about fluid legato playing, minor and major pentatonic and blues playing, modal playing, and more. Learn to infuse your playing with melody and learn all kinds of licks and more licks and even more licks in the Slash style.
