Learn Krita 5 with simple Exercises: Beginner Digital Art

Welcome to the Krita 5.0 Basics Course - Digital Art for absolute beginners!

If you want to start making digital art, the free software Krita is probably the best choice out there.

It has everything you need to create digital drawings and paintings, but it's still beginner-friendly and easy to understand.

However, if you're completely new to using digital art softwares, it can be quite confusing and time-consuming to figure out everything yourself. And with all the different features, it's easy to miss shortcuts and functions that can save you countless hours.

I'm "Duplo", experienced artist and designer from Germany, and I've been using Krita for quite a few years now. I have used the software to create countless tilesets, game assets, digital drawings and paintings, flyers and thumbnails and vector logos. And after all these years, I'm still very content with Krita and I'm grateful for it's existence.

But I have also observed many beginners struggle with the software and use it in a very inefficient way, which allows for mistakes in artworks or wasted hours of creation.

I have created this course for you, to efficiently take you through the entire process of understanding and learning Krita.

With this course, you will learn everything that you need to know to get started with creating your own artworks:

From the installation process of the software, to the basic process of using it, creating and saving your pictures, the basic functions, brushes, layers, selections, image editing and much more.

But we all know that knowledge and looking at things isn't enough, so I have prepared simple exercises, that will get you as comfortable with Krita as it gets. You will create a tree painting, an abstract artwork and a continue-picture of a landscape.
All at an appropriate point where we've covered a set of new functions, that you can try out yourself through these exercises.
